    Look at all the kinds of drinks on the table．There are milk tea, water, fruit juice，milk and fizzy drinks(碳酸饮料)．What should we drink? Coke，a kind of fizzy drink，tastes great，but it is really bad for your teeth and bones．It has a lot of sugar．Some drinks are good for us．Some are not．The doctors tell us to drink water and milk．Our body has lots of jobs and it needs water to do many of them．Milk is good for your eyes and bones．

    A man was traveling abroad in a small red car. One day he left the car and went shopping. When he came back, its roof was badly damaged.

    Some boys told him that an elephant had damaged it. The man did not believe them, but they took him to a circus(马戏团) which was near there. The owner of the elephant said, “I am very sorry! My elephant has a big, round, red chair. He thought that your car was his chair, and he sat on it!"

    Then he gave the man a letter, in which he said that he was sorry and that he would pay for all the damage.

    When the man got back to his own country, the customs（海关） officers wouldn't believe his story. They said, “You sold your new car while you were abroad（国外） and bought this old one!"

    It was only when the man showed them the letter from the circus man that believed him.

    Look at the sun. It's red. Look at the clouds. They are white. The sun and the clouds are in the blue sky. The umbrella is green and the chair is brown. The boat is pink. It's a nice picture.

    There are four seasons in a year. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. Winter is very cold. The wind blows and blows. I don't like winter. I like autumn best. It is cool and dry. The leaves are not green. Some are yellow. Some are brown. The leaves fall down. They look like butterflies. I can eat much fruit in autumn. And Mid-autumn Festival is in it. I can eat mooncakes, taros and beans. I feel happy in autumn.
