Mrs. Davies was a teacher in India. One summer she got a job as a teacher in an international school. But the school was in London. After she discussed with her husband, they decided to move to London.

    One day, after dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Davies told their son, Matt, the decision about moving to London. The boy felt surprised and upset. He didn't want to leave his friends. He said that he would rather live with his classmate, Mike. His parents thought that he would change his mind later. Soon, it was August. Mr. and Mrs. Davies were busy packing. However, Matt refused to go together with his parents.

    When the day came for them to leave India, Mr. and Mrs. Davies found their son lost. They were anxious and they called Mike, but he didn't know where Matt was, either.     ChaiJing, who worked for China Central Television (CCTV) from 2001 to 2013 as a TV reporter made a documentary(纪录片) named under the Dome （穹顶之下）to educate the public about smog. It is released（发行）online on March 1^st, 2015.

    In the opening of the documentary, Chai tells the story of her daughter with a begin tumor （良性肿瘤）before her birth. “ I couldn't help worrying while seeing the polluted sky in Beijing,” she says. She only took her daughter outside when the air in Beijing was good. The rest of the time she had to keep her at home like a “prisoner（囚犯）”. And there were175 polluted days in 2014 in Beijing.

    In the  documentary, Chai had an interview with a six-year-old girl, WangHuiqin, who live in Shanxi Province, a heavily polluted area in China. The girl told Chai that she had never seen stars, blue skies or white clouds in her village.

    Chai also went to London and Los Angeles, which had both suffered air pollution in the past, to learn how they had improved their environment.

    Chai spent one year making this 103-minute film, which cost her over 1 million yuan. In the documentary, Chai tries to answer three questions. They are “ What is smog”, “ Where does it come from?” and “What should people do?” And she calls on everyone to get into the fight against smog.

    A study shows that one million lives might be saved each year if people wash their hands with soap(肥皂) often. It also says that hand-washing with soap could be among the best ways to reduce diseases. Doctors say many diseases can be prevented from spreading by hand-washing. These include the common cold, influenza(流行感冒), hepatitis(肝炎), infectious diarrhea(腹泻) and so on.

    Doctors say you are easy to catch a cold by touching your nose or eyes after someone nearby has sneezed or coughed. Another reason to catch a disease is to eat food prepared by someone whose hands were not clean.

    They also say that hand-washing is especially important before and after preparing food, before eating and after using the toilet, after touching money and sneezing or coughing. The most helpful way is to wash them together while using soap and warm water. You do not have to use special soap. Be sure to wash all areas of the hands for about ten to fifteen seconds.
