Hi, my name is Evan and being the eldest child in the family surely has its disadvantages. First of all, I have to share all my toys and games with my younger Siblings, William and Julia. Of course, they don't need to return the favour because I'm totally uninterested in their things. Besides that, Julia and William are always hanging around me. It's especially annoying when I have a friend over. We look for a secluded place in the house where they can't disturb (打扰) us, but within minutes, they've found us and are asking to join in.I just can't seem to get a moment's peace. At meal times,I have to eat whatever is on my plate regardless of the portion size or taste. William and Julia only need to try one bite when it's not their favorite food. Not only this, but I'm expected to be cooperative (合作的,配台的) at all times because I'm the oldest and need to be a role model for them.

    It doesn't seem fair either that I have more chores to do around the house than Julia and William put together. Plus, when it comes to practising our musical instruments,I have to practise more than double the time. Oh, and the worst part of it all is the huge quantities of homework I get compared to them.

    I'm feeling rather annoyed wilh my sibling situation. Can you please write back with some advice?

    During rush hours, you never know when a bus or a taxi might come. Walking might be too tiring. If it's about two or three miles away, which kind of transportation will you choose? {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

    Bike shares are a growing convenience in many cities around the world. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Riders usually have to pick up a bike at a self-serve station and return it at another station later. However, a Chinese bike-sharing company called Ofo, is bringing this idea to a new level.

    Like any other bike-sharing service, Ofo users can get a bike at any time. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Instead, they can pick one up wherever and whenever they please. To get a bicycle, riders with the app are able to find the nearest one. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} After parking the bike, all they have to do is to lock it.

    This Chinese company already has its bicycle throughout China, the United States and Singapore. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} “We want to reach more cities, connect more bikes and serve more people”, said Ofo founder Dai Wei.

A.Thousands of bike sharing programs have been set up by the governments.

B.When a rider is done with the bike, returning is just as easy.

C.This month, 500 Ofo bicycles will be set up in Cambridge, England.

D.For short journeys, riding a bike could be the best solution.

    In May 2001, I found a job in New York at the World Trade Center. On September 11, 2001, I arrived at my building at around 8:30 a.m. I was about to go up when I decided to get a coffee first. I went to my favorite coffee place even though it was two blocks east from my office. As I was waiting in line with other officer workers, I heard a loud sound. Before I could join the others outside to see what was going on, the first plane had already hit my office building. We stared in disbelief at the black smoke rising above the burning building. I felt lucky to be alive.

⑴    This festival is celebrated to remember the poet Qu Yuan who brought peace and wealth to the state but ended up drowning(淹死) himself river. People got to the river by boat and threw rice dumplings into the water, hoping that the fishes ate the rice dumplings instead of Qu Yuan's body. For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by rice dumplings and dragon boat races.

⑵This festival is the most important festival in China. It starts on the first day of the first month according to the Chinese lunar calendar. On New Year's Eve, each family sits together eating, talking and watching TV for almost the whole night. The children can get presents from their parents or grandparents.

⑶It is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar. It is a time for family members and loved ones to get together to eat mooncakes and enjoy the full moon. It is also a harvest(收获) festival. Most families have a dinner together to celebrate the festival

⑷The festival usually happens on the fourth of April every year. It is a time to remember the dead. More importantly, it is a period to honor and to show respect to our ancestors and dead family members. Besides, it is a time of many different activities, among which the main ones are tomb sweeping, taking a spring outing and flying kites.

⑸It falls on the fifteenth day of the first lunar mouth. It is an important part of the Spring Festival, and marks the official end of the long holiday. At the festival, people have many activities such as eating yuanxiao, guessing lantern riddles, watching fireworks and lanterns, and others.

    Once there lived a farmer. He was the happiest man in England. He was busy all day, but he was always happy. He also liked to make everybody else happy, and people like him.

The farmer smiled and said, "I'm sure I don't want to do that, sir." "Now tell me what makes you so happy here on your dirty farm, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}" said the King. The farmer smiled again and said, "{#blank#}4{#/blank#} I live an easy life and I enjoy it. I make my own bread. I love my wife, children and friends, and they love me, too. That's all." The King said, "{#blank#}5{#/blank#}."

    My name's Bob. I went to Qingdao on vacation with my family this summer. We went there by bus. We visited Qingdao Polar Ocean World first. We saw many different kinds of fish and other sea animals. It was really interesting. For lunch we had sea food. It was delicious. After lunch, we went to the May Fourth Square. It was beautiful. We took some photos there. Then we went to the beach. It was cool. But there were too many people. We went shopping in the evening, and I bought something interesting for my friends. Everything was excellent. We had a wonderful time there and I hope to go there again.
