The story was a true one and still moved me deeply. Twenty years ago, I got to know a poor lady{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(name) Rose. She had no kids and lived alone. When I went to visit her, I always took Rose some coffee and food. One day she said she would like{#blank#}2{#/blank#}( invite) me to have lunch.

    We walked from my work place{#blank#}3{#/blank#} a little restaurant. On the way, I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (begin) to worry: I knew that she had no money, but if I offered to pay for the lunch, I was afraid I would hurt her.

    "What a silly woman!" said Mr. King.↑"How shall we keep it fresh in such hot weather?"

    "Your aunt is very rich," said Mrs. King. "Why not go and borrow some money{#blank#}8{#/blank#} her? Then we'll be able to buy a fridge."

    Mr. King agreed and they began to teach their five year-old son what {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(say) when they were at his aunt's house.

    "John," Mr. King said, "how can we keep the beef fresh?"
