A woman is going shopping. She is going by boat. The boat is going across a river. Her basket is 1^. Oh, dear, look! Her basket is in the 2"Help!" she says. "Don't worry. I can 3 it. I'm a very good 4." A man takes off his shirt and shoes. "Look 5 my clothes, please!" he says. Then he jumps into the river. A 6 sees the basket. "I can go by 7 ， " it thinks.     In 1985 two climbers, Joe Simpson and Simon Yates, left their base camp and started climbing a mountain called Siula Grande.

    1 they arrived at the top, they went down the mountain. Unfortunately, Simpson fell and 2 his leg. Quickly, Yates tied a rope to himself and then to his 3. Then Simpson slipped（滑倒）. He was hanging in mid-air. Yates didn't know 4 was happening below. The rope was pulling Yates down the mountain. He had two choices: hold the rope but then 5 of them might die, or cut the rope and survive（幸存）himself. It was a(n) 6 decision for Yates but, at the last moment, Yates 7 the rope and saved himself.     On a dark night several days later, Yates was sleeping at base camp when he 12 someone shouting his name. Finally, after searching and searching he  13 Simpson. He was lying on the ground, not moving, but he was still alive.

    After a few days, the two men 14home and their story became famous. Yates was 15 blamed（指责）for cutting the rope. In 1988, Simpson wrote a book about the accident and defended（为……辩解）Yates. Simpson believed Yates made the right decision.

    I saw my first butterfly of the spring today. I was 1 some food and other things into my house when suddenly the little lady 2 right down in front of my face.

I live on a farm in Japan. My parents are farmers. These days, we meet a problem; Some bears often come to our farm. Sometimes they eat plants. Sometimes they even hurt family animals. We are all afraid of them. 

To work out the problem, we have got an idea. Bears are always afraid of big wolves, so we buy two Monster Wolf robots. They are big and strong with two red eyes. They can make sounds like real wolves do. We hope the robotic wolves can drive(驱赶) bears away.  ▲ When the bears see the wolves, they are afraid and go away. 

Now it's winter. Bears need to sleep in winter. They won't come to our farm any more in the next months. The robotic wolves will start to work again next spring. The robotic wolves help us a lot and they make our life different. And I'm really happy to have them. 

Hip-hop dancing（街舞）is popular with many young people today. They like it because they can invent their own moves. They use this dance to show their love for life. It also shows that they feel good about life, that they just want to be themselves and enjoy life, and that they are not afraid of problems. 

Hip-hop dancing has a history of more than 30 years. It first began in the 1980s in the USA. In early times, it was seen in New York and Los Angeles. At that time, many young black people often danced to the music in the streets. They used their legs, arms, heads and even shoulders to dance. Many young people still use most of these moves today. 

Hip-hop dancing became popular all over the world because of the 1983 movie Flashdance. Some people performed Hip-hop dancing in the movie. People enjoyed their performance. They began to dance like them. Then it became popular. There are two kinds of Hip-hop dancing: new school and old school. More and more young people are learning Hip-hop dancing. People believe that it is a good way to exercise their bodies, and that it is good for their health .

 There is no one like you in the world, so you should learn to be happy with yourself. As we all know, nobody {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(be) perfect. So if you are not the most beautiful or {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(smart) person, that's okay. If you feel that you need to make yourself better, try your best {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(change). If you have tried your best, but you still can't make yourself happy, try this way. Ask yourself two simple {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(question). First, are you happy with who you are?{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the answer is yes, there is nothing to worry about. If you' re okay with{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(you) and you' ve done your best in everything, you should be happy. Second, have you given yourself enough time{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(make) yourself better? You know it takes time.

 Self-confidence(自信) is also very {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(importance). If you are confident, you' ll be okay with the things you do. Here is some advice if you' re not confident. First, find out your talents(天赋){#blank#}9{#/blank#} try to use them. Second, don't always compare yourself{#blank#}10{#/blank#} others. Third, forgive(原谅) yourself for some mistakes you have made.
