In a small house lived a poor man. He had two children Valentine and Mary. One winter evening, Valentine and Mary were staying at home. Then a tap (轻敲) was heard on the window. A child cried, "Please let me in! I am a poor child. I don't have any {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(亲戚) here. I will {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(死) of cold and hunger unless you let me in."

She woke up her brother, "Valentine, listen to the sweet music outside." They went outside to see what happened. To their surprise, a group of children were singing in front of the house. The poor child walked to Valentine and Mary. He broke a branch (树枝) from a tree near the house and planted it in the{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(花园). "I am the little Christ child," he said. "You took me in and cared for me. You are good children and I {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(欣赏) you. This branch shall become a tree and bring you fruit year by year." The branch became a {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(圣诞)tree, and it had fruit every Christmas.

Song Yanru begins her day of work early in the morning, sorting and loading(装载) packages. 

Working as a courier(快递员) in the countryside, she needs to drive 200 kilometers to visit faraway {#blank#}1{#/blank#} almost every day. 

In February, several companies, led by ZTO Express, set up express delivery sites in 19 villages of Nitun,  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} local people with convenience to send and receive packages. And Song is responsible for sending and collecting packages {#blank#}3{#/blank#} all the 19 villages. 

"In the past, I had to go to the town to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} packages. But now I can {#blank#}5{#/blank#} get the clothing sent by my daughter from the city, " says Mrs. Wang, while receiving her package from Song. 

"Things are much {#blank#}6{#/blank#} these days. So I bought a lot online during the recent mid-year online shopping festival, " Mrs. Wang says. 

"The express delivery service(快递服务） is now available in 89 villages, which is almost 85 {#blank#}7{#/blank#} of the total villages, in Yangqu County. And the number of packages delivered to these villages has jumped about 300 percent {#blank#}8{#/blank#} February, " says a manager of ZTO Express. 

It is getting dark. Song unloads the last package and says goodbye {#blank#}9{#/blank#} the villagers. She heads back toward the town, carrying packages to be sent to places across the county. 

 {#blank#}10{#/blank#} it is not easy to be a courier in the countryside, Song believes that it is a meaningful experience to be able to provide convenience for those in need.
