John: There are three birthdays in June. They are Grandpa's, Uncle Bill's and mine.

Tom: Is it Rose's pencil box?

Mary: No. Her pencil box is pink. This pencil box is green and old. What's in it?

    It's sunny today. There's no school. Bob goes to the farm with his classmate, Jack. Bob puts on his new white T-shirt and yellow cap(帽子). Jack has white shorts and green shoes(鞋子). The farm is very far(远的). They take a bus there. They see a lot of animals on the farm. There are eight cows on the farm. They like eating grass. There are ten ducks in the pool. They like swimming. They also see pigs and chicks on the farm. They have a good time today!

    The Roses（罗斯一家）like having picnics on Sundays. This Sunday they want to go to the Red Park. Jack and Mike, their sons, get up early in the morning. Jack puts on a shirt and jeans, and Mike puts on a T-shirt and jeans. They also put on their running shoes. After that they help their mother put bread, milk, eggs and some fruit in a basket and carry it to the car. Mrs Rose also takes four glasses of juice with her. The little dog Jerry is running after her. It wants to go with them, too. They are all very happy.

    One night Wu Gang was lying in bed. Then suddenly a loud cry for help woke him up. He looked out of the window and found his neighbour's house was on fire. Wu Gang hurried to telephone 119 for help. Then he ran out at once. He saw many people trying to put out the fire with water, and he quickly joined in. After some time, the firefighters arrived, the big fire was out at last. Luckily, no house was destroyed by the fire and all the people were safe.

My name is Zhou Dan. I'm a Chinese girl. I'm twelve. I'm in Class 1, Grade 4. There are 49 students in our class—29girls and 20 boys. We have six lessons every day. Today is Monday. We have Chinese, maths, English and PE in the morning, and science and music in the afternoon. I like English best. Mr Zhao is our English teacher. He is nice to us. We do all kinds of things in English in his class.
