Tom and Peter are good friends. They often play together. Today is Sunday. They go on a trip to Beijing with their parents. On the train，they see many men，women and children. Some women are playing cards. Some men are talking. A child is sleeping and a woman is talking with her son.

Tom：Look！I see a big cow.     

Peter：Where? Please point to it.

Tom：There!                      

Peter：I see it.

Tom：I like to take the train. It's fun. 

Peter：Me，too. I like to go on trips.

    Nancy's house is big and beautiful. There are many rooms in it. There are five people in her family: her father, mother, grandfather, grandmother and her. Look at Nancy's bedroom. There are two toy bears on the bed. Near the bed, there's a desk. On the desk, there are some books and a computer. Under the desk, there is a cat. It's Mimi.

    Last Sunday was funny day. Liu Tao came to Mike's home in the morning. They studied English together. They read some interesting English stories. At about ten o'clock, they went to Chengnan Park on foot. And they fished there. It was very interesting. They cooked lunch at about 12 o'clock and it was very nice. Then they cleaned the kitchen. They watched TV after lunch. At about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, they played table tennis.

Dad: What would you like?

Su Hai: I'm hungry. I'd like a pie.

Dad: What about you, Su Yang?

Su Yang: I'm not hungry. I'm thirsty. I'd like some orange juice.

Assistant: Sorry, there's no orange juice. Would you like some apple juice?

Su Yang: No, I don't like apple juice. Can I have some water?  

Assistant: Ok. What about you, sir?

Dad: I'd like some noodles and a cup of coffee.

Assistant: Ok.

Dad: How much are they?  

Assistant: Forty yuan.

    Many parts of the world have four seasons. They are spring, summer, fall and winter. Spring follows winter. It becomes warmer and the days become longer. Plants begin to grow and many animals have babies. Summer is the hottest season. It does not get dark until late. Plants grow fast. In fall the days get shorter. The weather turns cooler. Trees may lose their leaves. Some birds fly to warmer places. Winter is the coldest season. It gets dark early in the evening. Plants stop growing and many trees are bare(光秃).
