The lion and the goose

    It is a hot day in summer. A lion is walking along a lake. He is looking for something to eat. He is very hungry. A goose is swimming in the water. The lion is very happy to see him. “This is my lunch,” The lion says to himself（自言自语）.

“Hello Mr. Goose!” “Go away, you're bad lion” says the goose. “I have good news for you.” “What is it?” ask the goose. “I don't want other animals to hear it. Please come here.” Says the lion. The poor goose gest out of the water and runs to the lion. The lion eats him up.

    On Christmas Eve — the night before Christmas Day children are very happy. They put their stockings (长筒袜) at the end of their beds before they go to bed. They want Father Christmas to give them some presents. Mr. Green tells his children that Father Christmas is a cherry kind man. He comes on Christmas Eve. He lands on top of each house and comes down the chimney(烟囱) into the fireplace(壁炉) and brings them a lot of presents. Christmas Day always begins before breakfast. The children wake up very early. They can't wait to open the presents in their stocking. Then they wake up their parents and call: Merry Christmas! Do you know what Christmas means? Christmas Day is the birthday of Jesus Christ. When Christ was born, many people gave him presents. So today, people still do the same thing to each other.

    Mr. Black works on a farm. He and his wife grow a lot of plants and they have some cows. Every day they work hard from morning to evening. One day, Mr. Black says to his wife, "Let's go to Portsmouth next Sunday. We can have a good lunch there and then we can go to the cinema." His wife is very happy when she hears this, because she doesn't like cooking. They go to Portsmouth by train. At 12 o'clock, they want to have lunch. In front of a restaurant, they see a notice. It says, "Lunch: 12:30 to 2:30. Price: 1.5 pounds." "Well, that's good." Mrs Black says. "We can eat for two hours with 1.5 pounds here! This is the place (地方) for us."

    Tomorrow my family will visit my grandparents.

    My grandparents live on a farm. There are many animals and vegetables. I miss the little lamb. It' s cute and its fleece(羊毛) is white as(像…….一样) snow. There are fifteen piglets(猪仔), too. I lie the carrots on the farm. They are good for me.

    The weather report says tomorrow it will be sunny and hot in the morning, but rainy in the afternoon. So I will wear my new skirt and my straw(草) hat. And don't forget my umbrella

    We will drive to the farm early, so "good night" my dear diary!

    Hi, I'm Tony. My village is very beautiful. There are many mountains near my village. There is a forest near my village, too. There are many big trees in the forest. There is a river near my house. Two bridges are over the river. Look! There are many ducks and boats on the river. There are many fish in the river. I love my village very much.

    There is a new park near my house. It's a fine day today. My family and I are in the park now. On my left, there is a cafe. On my right, there is a big lake. There are many flowers and trees near the lake. There's a small hill behind the lake. Near the lake. There is a sign. It says, "Don't swim in the lake!" There is a playground in the middle of the park. There are some small shops near the gate. The park is so beautiful. We like it very much.
