    Each spring brings many wildflowers along the highway that I travel to work. There is one special blue {#blank#}1{#/blank#}that has always caught my eyes. Every day for two weeks.

    I see the beautiful flowers.

    This spring, I started a wildflower garden in our yard. I can {#blank#}2{#/blank#}out of the kitchen window while doing the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}and see the flowers. I've often thought that those lovely blue flowers along the highway would look great in my wildflower {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

    Every day I drove past the flowers thinking, "I'll stop on my way home and dig {#blank#}5{#/blank#}But I didn't want to get my clean clothes dirty... "I never {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to dig them One day on my way home from work, I was {#blank#}7{#/blank#}to see the highway workers had cut off the pretty blue flowers. I thought to myself, "You waited too {#blank#}8{#/blank#}You should have done it when you first saw them blooming this spring.

    A week ago we were sad to learn that my oldest sister {#blank#}9{#/blank#}a cancer, She is 20 years older than me, and because of being far away, we {#blank#}10{#/blank#}ever visited her, I thought about the pretty blue flowers and then about my sister, I won't miss the time I can spend staying with her.

    Do you often throw away things you don't need anymore? Have you ever thought about how these things can actually be put to good use? Nothing is a waste if you have a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} mind.

    You have probably never heard of Amy Hayes, but she is a most {#blank#}2{#/blank#} woman. She lives in a house in the UK that she built herself out of rubbish. The windows and doors come from old buildings around her town that were pulled down. The top of the house is an old boat {#blank#}3{#/blank#} upside down. And the gate in front of her house is made of rocks and old glass bottles. Amy recently won a prize {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the Help Save Our Planet {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. The president said, "Amy is an inspiration to us all."

    Amy isn't the only one who is good at {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. Jessica Wong from Hong Kong uses old clothes that people don't wear anymore to make bags. She has been {#blank#}7{#/blank#} this for a few years now. She opened a small shop where she sells her bags, and she has {#blank#}8{#/blank#} set up a website to sell them online. She {#blank#}9{#/blank#} likes to use old jeans to make handbags. Her bags are cute and {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. "I plan to write a book about new ways to use old clothes," she said. "I hope people can read my book and enjoy it!"

    Yesterday was Sunday and it was a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} day. Lin Ying and her mother {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to visit her grandmother in the country. The distance was far. First they {#blank#}3{#/blank#}the train to the small town which was far from the village where her grandmother {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Then they took a bus to the small village. When they{#blank#}5{#/blank#} to Grandma's home, they {#blank#}6{#/blank#} so tired. Grandmother cooked delicious food for {#blank#}7{#/blank#}". Lin Ying {#blank#}8{#/blank#} around the village after dinner. She never {#blank#}9{#/blank#} so many wild flowers and animals like cows, pigs and hens. She was very {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. And she wouldn't like to go back to the city again.
