Is there such a thing as being “over­protective”？

    I can honestly say that my answer to that question {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (change) dramatically (戏剧性地) since I became a parent.

    Before the birth of my daughter, I taught at {#blank#}2{#/blank#} private school, often viewing my students as over­protected, worrying {#blank#}3{#/blank#} would happen when they went on to middle schools.

    Some did well, and some did not.Some needed constant pats on the back, words of {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (inspire) and extra support, which I {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (happy) gave.Others were content on their own, needing little {#blank#}6{#/blank#} no interaction (互动) with their teacher.

    I'd always supposed their parents were over­protective, for they were the ones that still walked their {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (five) graders into the classroom and met them at the school gate.

    Admittedly, I laughed at those parents, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (think) their children would never learn to be {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (independence) if they didn't let go just a little.Then I had my own daughter.The moment I looked at her little face, I {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (know) I'd do everything in my power to protect her and make sure she always feels safe!

    Sudan is the only male northern white rhino (犀牛) left in the world.     Sudan, Fatu, and Najin have had their horns {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (remove) so that they will not be hunted. People hope Sudan and one of the females will be able to have a baby. Sudan is very old, but scientists will not give up hope.

    Our bodies can be younger or older than our actual age {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (depend) upon diet, lifestyle choices and physical activity. This is called biological(生理的)age, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} could be different from the age on your driver's license, which {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (call) chronological(时间的)age. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} recent study of over 900 adults who were tracked for 12 years, from ages 26­38, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (show) that people who were aging faster, meaning that their biological age was higher than their chronological age, were not as healthy or {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (physical) fit. This group was also more likely {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (have) cognitive decline(认知衰退)and was at a {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (great) risk for age­related health conditions.

    A growing body of research proves that the keys to aging successfully are a {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (combine) of exercising regularly, keeping busy with life, and maintaining a healthy diet with nutritious foods. These three key elements could contribute {#blank#}10{#/blank#} aging gracefully, and successfully, too.

Certainly, the{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (grow) of smartphones opens our eyes to the creative possibilities they provide. But whatever camera viewfinder (取景器) we end up {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (look)through, it is important to remember the basics of photography and get your subject to say "cheese!"
