A Bite of China (舌尖上的中国)

    There are many TV programs on Chinese cuisines (烹饪，美食), but few are {#blank#}1{#/blank#} "A Bite of China". It tries to bring something new by introducing Chinese food, such as {#blank#}2{#/blank#} habits and stories about food.

    It's said that more than 100 million Chinese people are {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the program. Most Chinese people like this program better than any other food program. They think it is an excellent program and it {#blank#}4{#/blank#} us a special view between people and food. This program helps the world learn more about Chinese {#blank#}5{#/blank#} and culture. It also shows the beauty of Chinese cuisines.

    Sally Seaman is an American Writer. She tells young students some smart ways to make friends. In her {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, founding(建立) friendship is just like planting a tree. You should plant the seed(种子) and take care of it to make it grow.

The girl loved them very much.

    One day the girl left the cage door{#blank#}4{#/blank#} One bird flew from the cage. The girl was afraid that he would fly away. As he flew close, she caught him wildly. She was very happy{#blank#}5{#/blank#}him. Suddenly she felt the bird unable to walk. She opened her hand{#blank#}6{#/blank#}was surprised to find the bird was dead. Her love {#blank#}7{#/blank#} him.

    She noticed the other bird jumping up and down in the cage. She could feel his great{#blank#}8{#/blank#}for freedom. She lifted him from the cage and let him fly into the air. She wanted the bird to be happy. The bird circled once, {#blank#}9{#/blank#}, three times. Finally, he flew closer and landed softly on her shoulder. He sang the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} music that she had ever heard.
