Our class is going to visit the zoo. Our town has a big zoo with a lot of 1 in it. There are some beautiful tigers and two old 2. They eat a lot of meat every day. There are also two big elephants and a baby one. I want to3on one of the elephants. The elephants are tame(驯服的) and 4. They eat a lot of grass every day. They like children because they sometimes5 the elephants bread and bananas. Elephants like bananas very much.

    In our zoo there are also brown, black bears and white bears. They stand on their back legs, hold up their arms and ask for food. They like 6 very much.

    There is also a Children's Corner in our zoo. There children 7 horses and donkeys and watch the monkeys. The monkeys are very 8. They climb up ropes and jump down again and play with each other like small children. They love nuts and 9and bread. I am going to 10a basket to the zoo with bread, cakes, nuts and bananas.

    London is such a wonderful city. It is very large. The Thames River runs 1the city from west to east. So the city has 2 parts: the South and the North. In the North, there are important buildings, shops, big parks and interesting places. The3in London is good. In winter it is not very cold and in summer it is not very hot 4 the city is near the sea. People say London is a foggy city and it often rains. It is true. Last year, when I 5 in London, I met one of the thickest fogs in years. You could hardly see your hand in front of your face.     George Mallory was an English school teacher who loved 1 . In 1924, Mallory and a team of British climbers tried 2 the top of Mount Qomolangma, the highest mountain in the world. No one had ever done it before.

    Mallory had already tried to 3 the top of Mount Qomolangma in 1921 and 1922, 4 he didn't succeed both times. In 1924, he started to climb again. On June 8th, 1924, he and 5 climber, Andrew Irvine, were only a few hundred meters 6 the top of the mountain. Building Our Community

    "Mom, I hope Steve can take me to the park next weekend, "I said.

    "Sorry, Lucy, "Mom said, "your brother is volunteering next weekend to help 1 a house for a family."
