Peter is a school student. He likes reading books. He often goes to the school library on Monday afternoon. Peter likes playing basketball，too. He plays basketball with his friends on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday he plays volleyball with them. Peter plays chess after school on Thursday. On Friday evening，Peter plays games at home. At the weekend Peter goes to the park and fly kites with his family.

    Jim is a good student at school. He never breaks(违犯) the school rules. All of his teachers like him a lot. But he is not a good boy at home. He often makes a mess(杂乱) in his room. He doesn't like to help his mother set the table(摆放餐桌). He usually watches TV on weekday evenings. He goes to bed very late and reads in bed. Jim's mother writes some family rules for him:

    My name is Tom. I come from Guangzhou and live with my grandparents and parents. Now it is in July. It's my summer holiday. I' m visiting my uncle and aunt in Sydney. But it is winter in Sydney. I don't have a thick (厚的) coat for cold days. Because it's not so cold in Guangzhou even in winter. I will buy one with my aunt this weekend. I think I also need a pair of warm shoes and something else warm. I will buy some presents for my cousin, Bill. So I will be very busy this weekend.

Cathy: Mom, look, there are some birds.

Mom: Which bird do you like?

Cathy: I like the green one. It's more beautiful than the blue one.

Mom: Which bird is stronger?

Cathy: The blue one is stronger.

Mom: I like the blue bird. I think it's younger, too.

Cathy: But the green bird's tail is longer.
