The European country, Denmark is now home to the tallest sandcastle (沙堡) in the world. It is in the small seaside town of Blokhus. This sandcastle has set {#blank#}1{#/blank#}new Guinness World Record.

According to Guinness World Records, the castle is three meters {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(tall) than a castle built in Germany in 2019, which used to be the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(world) largest sandcastle.

The castle stands 69.5 feet (about 21.16m) tall and weighs nearly 5,000 tonnes. It {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(take) 4,860 tonnes of sand and a team of 30 people to put it together. There is 10% clay (黏土) in the sand. And people paint a layer of glue on the castle after completing it. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(certain), this makes it strong enough to stand cold and windy weather.

On top of the sandcastle is a model of the virus (病毒) wearing a crown, {#blank#}6{#/blank#}its Dutch creator, Wilfred Stijger,  wanted the castle to show the power the virus has had over the world since its break. "It controls {#blank#}7{#/blank#}( we ) lives everywhere,"Stijger said. "It tells us what to do...It asks us {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(stay) away from our family and not to go to nice places. Don't do {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(activity), and stay at home."

The people of Blokhus are of course excited {#blank#}10{#/blank#}the record and are very proud of the sandcastle.

Every English learner wants to speak English and have a good accent, So what is the hottest accent in Britain now?

In English , RP means Received Pronunciation or Standard Pronunciation. It is what we learn at school. However, u{#blank#}1{#/blank#} Mandarin in Chinese, RP English is not popular on TV or radio in Britain though it used to be the most prestigious(有声望的）accent. It is r{#blank#}2{#/blank#} to find someone who really speaks RP English now . Probably the Queen is one of the f{#blank#}3{#/blank#} people who speak that way. 

In fact, RP English is not standard English in Britain. It's not what most people speak e{#blank#}4{#/blank#} . As we know, there was a lot of accents and dialects. F{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the way people speak English , you can understand their social, educational and geographical background. British people are so proud of the class that they are from. If they are working class, they are proud of b{#blank#}6{#/blank#} working class. And they don't want to belong to a different class. To them, the most important thing is that they can speak clearly and fluently, They love their accents. 

The h{#blank#}7{#/blank#} English accent is :don't copy other people's accent, but sometimes adjust your own accent according to different situations. 

We each have a memory. That's why we can remember things for a long time. Some people have a very good memory and they can {#blank#}1{#/blank#} （easy）learn many things by heart. But others can only remember {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（thing）when they say or do them again and again.

The Double Ninth Festival is a special day for elderly people in China. The festival is on the ninth day of the ninth month of the lunar calendar （农历）. As the Chinese word for nine has the same sound2 the word for long, people take the festival to show their wishes of long life for elderly people. 

There are many3 for this festival. On that day, families get together and climb mountains for luck and in the hope that elderly people will live much4 . They also drink chrysanthemum wine （菊花酒）and wear a plant called zhuyu to make people5 the special day. Both chrysanthemum and zhuyu are thought to be clean plants that can clean houses and cure diseases. But the custom of carrying a dogwood spray（山茱萸喷雾）during the Double Ninth Festival is slowly6 and many people in the cities, do not even know what a dogwood spray looks like. 

7 elderly people is shown not only on this special day but also in daily life. For example, when there are several guests at the table; the host usually introduces 8 from the oldest to the youngest. On a9 . subway or bus, younger people always offer their seats to elderly people.
