My name is Bill Clark. There are four people 1my family. I 2a sister but I don't have a brother. This is my 3. The computer is 4 the desk. Books and tapes 5 on the bookcase. 6 is my schoolbag? Oh, 7is on my bed. My sister's room isn't 8 . Her books are everywhere. Look! Here is a photo 9 my family. My sister looks 10in her white jacket. We are all very happy.

    I know the saddest moment in my life. Three years ago I was in Grade 6. I arrived at my school that morning. As soon as I walked into the classroom, I felt sad and uncomfortable. I knew exactly why the mood felt this way. The people around me were 1 their feelings. Today was the day when our teacher would leave and move to another school. Mr. Smith was finally saying goodbye to our school after five years' 2 here.

    Mr. Smith was a lovely man. He would tell a lot of jokes during the class 3. So you would remember them. He was very easy to talk with. He was cool, relaxed, and was always 4. When you would see him. It was 5 not to like him.

    That day began with our class song as usual. I felt sad and uneasy. I couldn't even imagine how things were going to be 6 him. All the good times I've had with him, the jokes he told that made me laugh, the countless hours of watching him play the guitar and the warm 7 he kept on his face… These thoughts went through my mind, and I became inspired.     When I woke up, I was surprised to discover that I was in in my own room. Somebody had put me there when I was 1. The same had happened to Ned and Conseil. Capital Nemo did not 2 until about two o'clock. When he came out in front of us, he didn't explain anything.

    "Are you a doctor?" he asked me. 3 had studied medicine in Paris. When I told him that, he asked me to help one of his men. I followed him to another 4.

    "He is going to die soon," I said. "5 can save him." Tears filled Capital Nemo's eyes, and he asked me to leave the room first.

The next day, he 6 me to go with him for another walk under the water. I agreed, and my 7friends decided to come, too. We went out and found that we were not on sand but on coral(珊瑚).We used our lights to go 8into the ocean. Some of the crew had come with us. Four of them 9 the coffin(棺材) of the man who had died. We walked for two hours and stopped 10 we reached 300 meters. This is where coral begins to 11. Some of the crew had brought tools with them, and they dug a hole in the coral. They placed the coffin in it. Then, they 12 the coffin with rocks. I could see that there had been other burials(埋葬) here 13. We returned to the Nautilus. "Your 14friend is safe from sharks," I said to Capital Nemo. "And from men!" he added 15.

    I began to think that Nemo was not just keeping away from humans in his Nautilus. He was planning revenge(复仇).

    You have probably heard the expression, "It's raining cats and dogs outside." It means that it's raining very hard but not that 1 cats and dogs are filling from the sky. 2, one day in June, 1882, it really did rain 3 over Dubuque, Iowa. The frogs began falling along with hailstones (冰雹) during a 4 storm.

    Hail is 5 when drops of rainwater are caught by heavy winds and are carried high up into the air. There the raindrops become 6. Many drops may freeze together to form 7 of ice; these ice balls, or hailstones, then 8 to earth.

    During the storm in Dubuque, the strong winds 9 small frogs from nearby ponds into the air along with raindrops. When some of these frogs became covered 10 ice, both hailstones and "frog-stones" fell onto the ground.

     "Hi! John." Mary ran towards me with a bright smile, saying. "I'm going to have a dance performance tonight. I hope you'll come. Here is the ticket. Don't forget!" Then she left in a hurry. "What? Dance? Is that1?" I asked myself. Mary was not such a kind of girl. She was quite common one. I had never seen her wearing colorful clothes. In fact, she really did not know how to dress up. What a terrible thing!

    "I should go to, I must go to." I thought.

    I arrived at the hall with the ticket, found my 2 and sat down. Her performance was the seventh one. I knew I would have a 3 time before her turn, for I had no sense of art, but her performance was worth watching, no matter how long I would wait.

    Time went4I tried my best not to fall asleep.

    Just then, came the words, "Let's welcome the next exciting dance - Latin!"

    Hearing this, I opened my eyes as large as possible, fearing to lose anything. Wearing a golden and shining skirt, Mary appeared. She5with a sweet smile, looking like a pretty butterfly flying. I could hardly believe my eyes.

    After the performance was over, I waited for her at the gate.

    "Hi!" She stood in front of me with her crystal（水晶）shoes. "How do you feel?" "Fantastic!" I answered.

    "Ha, ha. I knew 6 would be." She could not hide her excitement, laughing like a child. At the time, I realized that every girl has a pair of special shoes which are like the crystal shoes of Cinderella.
