Lots of us have dreams of doing big business when we grow up. However, Moziah Bridges, a 14-year-old boy in the US, is now the CEO of his own company. He {#blank#}1{#/blank#}   ( sell) $200,000 bow ties(领结) since 2011.

 One day about four years ago, when Moziah  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (shop) for bow ties, he found they were only in "ugly" black and red. He wanted a change. So he asked his grandma {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  (teach) him how to sew（缝）. and finally developed the talent of creating bow ties. However, his first bow tie{#blank#}4{#/blank#}   (not look) nice. The boy never gave up and kept on{#blank#}5{#/blank#}  (practice). He used colorful cloth with different pictures. His parents and friends started to like his bow ties. Then he tried to sell them online to several stores in the south. Moziah's bow ties soon {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  (become) popular.

 Now his business has increased quickly. As Bridges' mother said, "You don't have to wait until you're older. If you{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (have) a dream, just go for it."

    Born in 1929, Anne Frank was a German-Jewish teenager．Her family were f{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to go into hiding in a secret place in her father's office to avoid being arrested by the Nazis．During that difficult time, Anne kept w{#blank#}2{#/blank#} in her diary until they were discovered by the Nazis in August 1944．They w{#blank#}3{#/blank#} finally caught and sent to a Nazi camp．Her m{#blank#}4{#/blank#} died a few months later．She and her elder sister d{#blank#}5{#/blank#} of illness in 1945, before the war ended．

    Anne wrote down her t{#blank#}6{#/blank#}, her feelings, her hopes and her dreams for the future in her diary．Her father h{#blank#}7{#/blank#} it published in 1947．And Anne's diary has been translated i{#blank#}8{#/blank#} 67 languages．

    “The Diary of Anne Frank” was a r{#blank#}9{#/blank#} of that time．It has also become a symbol of the victory of the human s{#blank#}10{#/blank#}．It has become one of the world's most popular books．

Dear Dennis,

    We just want to say thank you for having us before we caught the plane last week. It was a nice evening, and we enjoyed {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Pete and Sarah. With your help we were able to get to the airport with plenty of time. We often tried to get an {#blank#}2{#/blank#} flight than usual, but it wasn't possible.

    We had {#blank#}3{#/blank#} holiday in Spain. We just loved driving {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the countryside, and we often {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to walk round a mountain village. We met {#blank#}6{#/blank#} friends, Bill and Sue, and they invited us to have a meal with them. They wanted us to stay with them, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} we couldn't, as we had already booked two {#blank#}8{#/blank#} in a hotel.

    The weather was nice. There {#blank#}9{#/blank#} so much beautiful sunshine all the time we were there. Leaving Spain was very sad. It made me want to cry.

    My teachers thought I couldn't study well. My family also had {#blank#}1{#/blank#}same thought as my teachers.

    When I was going to give {#blank#}2{#/blank#} my study, a new teacher, Miss White came to our school. She was young,{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(beauty)and knowledgeable.

One day, I was sitting alone in my classroom, Miss White came up to me and talked to me happily. Soon her smile drove away my unhappiness. “Do you think I can go to college?” I didn't know why I {#blank#}4{#/blank#}( ask )such a question. I thought she must say “no”,  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}everyone else said so. But she said, “Dear, you can do{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(something) you want. Just try, and you'll get closer to success. I believe you are the best!”

    I was touched(感动) _{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(deep)by her words. I decided to study hard. From then on, we became good  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(friend). She often helped me with my study in her free time. In the end ,I did well in my studies and went to a good college. Miss White is an angel. Her words have kept me {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(go) forward. She helped me to see that I am special and can be {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(success) in life.

    Climbing a mountain is hard work. But one step(脚步)after{#blank#}1{#/blank#}finally brings a person to the top. Along the way, he can stop and look{#blank#}2{#/blank#}. And the{#blank#}3{#/blank#}he climbs, the more wonderful his view is. If he keeps{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, he will have a new world before him. He will have a new way to see everything.

    Now{#blank#}5{#/blank#}a new language is something {#blank#}6{#/blank#}climbing a mountain .This new language can give you a new view of life .It can open quite a new different world in front of you. This will make you richer in things that money can't buy. Even though you never set foot on a ship or a plane, you can be an armchair traveler through books.

    The mountain climber stops now and then to{#blank#}7{#/blank#}the scenery around him. Reading is just like this .If you are interested in it, you'll find{#blank#}8{#/blank#}in books.
