We go shopping on Sunday. My father likes fruits very much. We buy some bananas and red apples at the fruit shop. My mother likes to wear new clothes. She buys a new sweater and a new skirt at the clothes shop. I buy three books at the book shop. At last(最后)，we buy some tea for my grandfather in a tea shop.

    The Roses（罗斯一家）like having picnics on Sundays. This Sunday they want to go to the Red Park. Jack and Mike, their sons, get up early in the morning. Jack puts on a shirt and jeans, and Mike puts on a T-shirt and jeans. They also put on their running shoes. After that they help their mother put bread, milk, eggs and some fruit in a basket and carry it to the car. Mrs. Rose also takes four glasses of juice with her. The little dog Jerry is running after her. It wants to go with them, too. They are all very happy.

    My name is Lucy. I come from American. I am now in China. I study in Hangzhou No.4 Middle School.There are many clubs in our school. They are an English club, an art club, a music club, a ball game club, a swimming club, a chess club and a computer club. There is a “Show Yourselves!” Festival in our school on May 9^th every year.On that day, students from different clubs show their talents(才能) in different ways(用不同的方式). They can sing English songs, draw beautiful pictures. They can play the guitar, the violin, the piano and the trumpets. They can also play chess and show us their swimming skills(技巧). They like this festival very much. I join the art club, and I draw the ad.s for them. Giving(付出) help makes me happy.

    Most people have flown a kite or have seen one ride and dip(下降）in strong spring wind. Not so many people know that kites were first made in China thousands of years ago. The ancient Chinese were making and flying kites even before they were writing.

    A long time ago, the Chinese made kites to use in wars. They would fly these war kites in the dark. The kites were fixed(固定）so that they made strange sounds. Men at war would hear these sounds and run away. They thought those strange sounds were made by gods in the sky.

    The ancient Chinese also flew kites to bring good luck and to make their crops grow rich and tall. Sometimes they tied long strings(细绳）and hooks(钩) to their kites. Then they would fly the kites over water, letting the hooks hang down to catch fish.

    The Chinese use sticks(树枝), strings and paper for their kites. Some of these kites look like animals or trees. Others look like birds or houses.

    Canada is the second biggest country in the world. The capital of Canada is Ottawa. Ottawa is a big city. The weather in Canada is not cold or hot. It's quite good. The famous tower in Canada is the CN Tower. From the top of the tower, you will find the cars on the road just look like ants. The people in Canada are very friendly. I'm sure you can make lots of friends there.
