A sunny day, many students are visiting in Shanghai Zoo. They're having fun there. Look, some boys are watching the monkeys. There are eighteen monkeys there. They're lovely and naughty. Some are sitting on the hill, some are chasing each other. The girls are watching swans now. The swans are black and white. They're swimming on the river. They're quiet and beautiful. The students like animals very much because animals are our good friends.

    There are many mice in a house. The man of the house gets a cat. The cat kills many of the mice. The oldest mouse says, "All the mice must come to my room and we will think what we can do about this cat."

All the mice come. Many mice speak, but none knows what to do. At last a young mouse stands up and says, "We must put a bell on that cat. Then the cat will not catch any more mice." Then the old mouse asks, "Who will put the bell on the cat?" No mouse answers. At last he says, "It is easy to say things, but it is hard to do them."

    My name is Xiaoling. I have three meals in a day. I have bread, eggs and milk for breakfast at home. I have a hamburger, French fries, fish, orange juice and coffee for lunch in my office. My dessert is ice cream. In the restaurant I have my dinner. I like noodles, tomatoes, beef and salad. My favourite drink is coffee.
