    I am writing tell you about the discussion we've had about whether it is necessary of middle school students to have mobile phones. Most students think this is more convenient for them to keep in the touch with their parents and classmates. And what's much, it's a fashion. However, most teachers think middle school students are not old enough to control them. It is a waste of time for students to play games and sending messages on their mobile phones. Therefore, it is easy to make students contact with each other. In my opinion, following the fashion was understandable. But as middle school student, we should put all our energy into our study.

    Here I will tell you what happened to me the other day. My best friend Alice and I was riding her brother's four-wheeler. She was driving down a road when all of sudden we hit a sand pile and lost control. She was okay and I wasn't. I was knocking unconscious. At first she didn't know how to do but then she heard a truck coming down the road. So she waved down the driver and explain what had happened. The man got out of his truck with a second thought. He rushed over to her and called an ambulance. By that time I was starting to wake up. When I woke up, I saw the man stood over me. I thanked for him. That man was a hero.

    Last week our class voted on how to do for you class outing: visit the Singapore Zoo and go to the Night Safari(夜间动物园). We girls wanted to go to the zoo, but since we are in minority, we lost to the boys, that all wanted the safari. We got the admission rate for the students, which was great since I still had not enough money to buy a brochure about the park as well as something at the souvenir shops. The safari was scary(吓人的)but real fun. As we took the ride across the park's dark jungle, we could see the eyes of many creatures look at us. Most of the animal there sleep when there sunlight and wake up at night.

    Laughter is the greatest medicine. It helps those that cannot work out become fit. First of all, laughing out loud helps improve your general fitness. This is why laughter strengthens the heart and the lung. Second, a good laugh can relax your muscles. As you laugh, the muscles participated in the laugh become active. After you laugh, these muscles start to relax. Also, laughter make us feel the sense of happiness. Experts say that the positive feelings produce by laughter not only make us happy but also help us to reduce pain.

The next time when you feel upset or disappointing, do not worry. Enjoying a funny comedy or reading some jokes will drive your negative feelings and make you feel much better.

    I have some study tips to share with you. First, be sure to discuss your needs with your teacher. He or she may have great advices for you. Second, in the classroom, be sure to listen careful to your teacher and making notes so that you can review later. Ask questions unless something is unclear. Third, see if you can do your homework soon after arriving to home. That way, things you've learned will fresh in your mind. When you do my homework, you are practicing what you've learned. At last, if you reviewed your notes every day, you will not have to struggle to learn much things before a test. And when you do a project, try to work on them a little every day rather than do it all at once.
