These years, more and more Chinese people are traveling abroad during the holidays. However, a recent survey shows that the Chinese people are the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  most unpopular tourists, just behind the US citizens（公民）. What's wrong with us?

However, there are still a lot of thoughtful Chinese tourists, {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  behave respectfully when visiting the places of interest, taking a few {#blank#}9{#/blank#} before moving on to the next spot.
{#blank#}10{#/blank#}  we spend money to enjoy ourselves, it doesn't mean we can do anything we want. All travelers should respect local customs and take care of the environment.

    My hometown is in the southeast of England. Since I was a child, my family has taken a summer holiday each year in Devon, which is in the southwest of England. It {#blank#}1{#/blank#} takes a three - hour drive from my home to Devon. Devon is a really great place to {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a holiday in England, and today I will tell you why.

    First of all, it's on the coast. This means you can spend plenty of time on the beach, which is fantastic {#blank#}3{#/blank#} it is sunny. Of course, you should take an umbrella to the beach because it might rain. But even if it's raining, there's {#blank#}4{#/blank#} a lot to do in Devon. There are lots of very pretty {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. You can easily spend a day looking at the shops, finding a place to eat some local fish and chips and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} an ice cream at the end of your day.

    If you're {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in history, you will find plenty of castles (城堡) and old houses to visit. Ancient kings and queens once {#blank#}8{#/blank#} there. If geology(地质学) is your thing, you will love Devon because it's famous for {#blank#}9{#/blank#} "Jurassic Coast". This is an area by the sea where the cliffs(峭壁) have a special naturally red colour. Many people come to spend a day studying the rocks. If you are {#blank#}10{#/blank#}, you can find fossils (化石) of animals in the rocks. Isn't that amazing?

    All in all, I think Devon is a great place for a holiday. There is always plenty to do, no matter what age you are.

    Amy isn't the only one who is good at {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. Jessica Wong from Hong Kong uses old clothes that people don't wear anymore to make bags. She has been {#blank#}7{#/blank#} this for a few years now. She opened a small shop where she sells her bags, and she has {#blank#}8{#/blank#} set up a website to sell them online. She {#blank#}9{#/blank#} likes to use old jeans to make handbags. Her bags are cute and {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. "I plan to write a book about new ways to use old clothes," she said. "I hope people can read my book and enjoy it!"

    I have many friends. One of them is Simon. He is my best friend. Simon and I are thirteen years old. He is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} than I, and he is shorter than I, too. He wears glasses but I don't.

    Simon likes eating fruits. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} he takes them to school and shares them with me after class. Simon and I are in the same class. He {#blank#}3{#/blank#} schoolwork and he often helps me with my English. We always play {#blank#}4{#/blank#} after school. He likes to do the same things as I do. I live {#blank#}5{#/blank#} from school but Simon lives near it, so he never comes late. At weekends I usually go to his house when I am free. We always have a great time when we are together.
