Dear Leo, I understand your trouble. Don't worry. There are some things you should remember because they will help you. When I was in primary school, I had very few shared interests with the other students around me. But when I entered secondary school, I was suddenly in a different environment and I felt a lot more comfortable. So you should accept the truth that your present situation won't always be the case. You never know what the next period of life will bring to you, and your new best friend might be just around the corner. Make the best of now. Try your hardest to get along with the people around you and at least don't refuse their interests. This doesn't mean you should give up your interests. Instead, develop different hobbies while at the same time staying true to who you are. I'm sure this will keep you smiling while you wait to finally meet your true friends. Alex |
