    Today more and more students like going shopping on the Internet. Do you have any ideas about it? Here are four girls' ideas.

    Sandy, twelve

    I like new skirts and jeans. At the weekend I usually go to the shops on the Internet. When I see my favourite things, I can pay for them by my credit card(信用卡).

    Hollywood is a shiny, bright place. It is the movie capital of the world. And it is also one of the tourist destinations (目的地) in America. In 1911 the small, peaceful village of Hollywood in California was voted to become part of Los Angeles (洛杉矶). Today, over 100 years later, this village has grown into the home of one of the most well-known industries in the world — the American film industry.

    With this growth came many well-known symbols. There is the famous Hollywood sign which stands above the hills of the town. The first sign was built in 1923. Then there is the Hollywood Hall of Fame (名人堂), where great actresses, actors and directors leave their footprints or handprints. Norma Talmadge was the first actress to do this in 1927. But the most famous of all is the Oscar Academy Awards. Every spring, a large number of actresses, actors and directors wait excitedly and nervously to find out if they have won an "Oscar". This year was the 85th Oscar Academy Awards. It was held on February 25 in Los Angeles. Ang Lee, a Chinese director, won the Award for Best Director again. It was the second time he had won the Award.

    Nowadays it is the home of films, and thousands of hopeful young actresses, actors, writers and directors still come to "the Dream Factory" every year. But not all Hollywood dreams have been happy ones — as one actress, who later died tragically (悲惨地), said, "Hollywood is a place where they will pay you 500 dollars for a kiss, and 50 cents for your soul (灵魂)."

    In fact there are lots of videos of school bullying online every year. We feel angry with the bullies and sorry for the victims in fights and blackmails. Some middle schools and primary schools in some far counties and villages are the worst-hit parts. Nearly half the victims of bullying in middle schools choose to stay silent rather than ask for help or ways to solve the problem, China Youth Daily reported.

    There is a study on junior middle school bullying made by the China Women's University. It showed that 48.9 percent of the students never asked for help after being bullied. And the study also told us 52.6 percent kept silent because they were afraid of “losing face among schoolmates”.

    The China Youth and Children Research Center made a survey of 5,864 primary and middle school percent of students suffered bullying, while 6.1 percent were often bullied by senior schoolmates.

    Cases of violence between boys and girls totaled 85 percent of all school bullying, the report said. Violence between girls accounted for as much as 32.5percent of the total. Unlike direct arguments usually seen between boys, the violence between girls more often took the form of insults, which terribly caused victims have strong feelings, it was added.

    A study published by the Beijing High People's Court showed that 68 percent of offenders attacked their schoolmates in a cruel manner and nearly 60 percent of school violence cases were caused by small matters, Legal Daily said.

    Earlier, Tang Jun of Renmin University of China told reporters that the social risks of school bullying have been given too little care. We should train our teachers to deal with school bullying, improve their skills of preventing it, and help the victim students to recover physically and mentally. At the same time, students and their parents should know the school's rules about bullying and what they should do if it happens. Second, children should be taught to stand up for themselves. They should try to solve problems by talking them out. Children should tell someone if they are being picked on. Third, parents should look for warning signs of bullying. We must pay more attention to it and try our best to solve it.

Answer the questions (根据短文内容回答下列问题)

    Each and every year, during Chongyang Festival, citizens of China celebrate the elders in their families and communities. It's a special tradition which is rooted in the deep value that Chinese culture places on honouring their elders.

Sadly, many of our aging population are seniors without sons, daughters or grandchildren to visit. While they may have great friends, they no doubt miss the tender and loving relationships unique to families. To fill this void(空虚), many volunteers turned up on October 28 at nursing homes around the country in order to spend time with the residents. In some cases, they performed humble(谦逊的) gestures of kindness, such as combing their hair or washing their feet.

    While the kind acts were appreciated, one embarrassing story out of Anhui province raised a valuable question. Reportedly, one old gentleman had his feet washed seven times during the day by different volunteers. Is this genuinely(真诚地) caring for the elderly? Many of the residents at the home said that those gestures do not make them feel cared for at all. Their family members or community volunteers may drop by for a few hours of token time, but soon they disappear back into their busy lives.

    There is nothing we can give that is more valuable or appreciated than our time. While you may feel like there is barely enough time to care for your many responsibilities, might it be possible to spare just a moment as you walk home from school to sit with a senior who lives in your community? Just five minutes is not going to prevent you from getting your homework done, but it may totally change a day of loneliness into a day of joy for one old man or woman. Do you live far from your grandparents? Why not pick up the phone and let them know you're thinking of them? Or maybe you could remind them of the “good old days” and mail them a short letter. Imagine their surprise and joy!

We live in a complicated(复杂的) and busy world, but kindness and caring is still a very simple thing.

下面文章中有五处需要添加小标题。请从以下选项(A、B、C、D、E 和F)中选出符合各段意思的小标题。选项中有一项是多余选项。

5 Ways To Build Friendship with Your Neighbors

    ①{#blank#}1{#/blank#}

    Often neighbors don't even know each other's names. But it's okay to be the one to break the ice. So as you see them at work in their yards, smile, wave and say hello. Ask how their kids are or what they think of the price at the local supermarket.

    ②{#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Your new neighbors may be feeling lonely and unsure, especially if they're far from home. Your help will be welcomed by them. Leave your telephone number to them. If they have any questions, they can call you.

    ③{#blank#}3{#/blank#}

    Most of us find it difficult to remember people's names. Writing down the names of your neighbors and note about them, such as "Frank and Jill—Bob's neighbor," helps you remember their names. The next time we see Frank and Jill, we try to call them by name.

    ④{#blank#}4{#/blank#}

    If you value a friendship with your neighbors, spend time with them. What better way to meet your neighbors than to invite them to a pool party or holiday open house? Chat with each for five minutes to get an idea of what your neighbors are like so that you can plan for food and music.

    ⑤{#blank#}5{#/blank#}

    In a good relationship, it's really the little things that count. Help to bring in the mail for the elderly neighbor when there is a heavy rain. When your neighbor forgets to take in his rubbish cans, roll them back into his yard.
