Do you ever wish you had more time? Everyone gets 24 hours in a day. But here are some ways to help you use those hours more efficiently (有效率地).

Set priorities (优先级

Setting priorities is the best way to manage your time exactly. Consider whether your tasks are important or not and find out which one should be done right away.

Make a timetable

Decide what you're going to do at a certain time each day. A well-organized timetable can not only help you improve your working speed but also make you feel less stressed.

Choose a suitable time

Think about the time when you have the most energy during the day. Are you more energetic in the morning or afternoon? Do hard work when you feel good and leave simple one when you are tired.

Make lists

Write down when to do and what to do. I keep two to-do lists: one for aims of today and the other for the projects I'm working on. The lists remind me that I won't forget anything. They also help me pay more attention to the shorter list.

Give up something

Managing time sometimes means giving up doing something you like. When you're ready to start a new task, think carefully. Is it really worth spending your time? Could someone else do it instead?

As a saying goes, "Work smarter, not harder." If you want to make full use of your time, make a plan and stick to it.

Everyone has the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} time each day, but how can we use it wisely? Here are some {#blank#}2{#/blank#}to use those hours better. Find out which task is the most important and make time for it. Decide what you are going to do at a certain time each day. Think about the time when you are the most {#blank#}3{#/blank#} during the day. Making two to-do lists is also useful. One is for today's tasks, the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} is for larger projects you are working on. To manage time sometimes means you need to give up doing something you {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. All in all, making a plan and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to it can make you use time better.

What's the best way to manage your time from the passage?{#blank#}7{#/blank#}

When are you supposed to do the hard work according to the passage?{#blank#}8{#/blank#}

How many ways are mentioned in the passage to use time better?{#blank#}9{#/blank#}

 阅读下面短文,按照句子结构的语法性和上下文连贯的要求,从1~15各题所给的A、B、C和D项中选出最佳选项。

Last month some parents went to a pizza restaurant in Florida with their children. On the door, they1 a sign in capital letters: "NO CHILDREN." "Why can't we bring our children?", "What does the owner want to do?" The parents were surprised and complained 2 .

So why did the restaurant 3 the sign on its door?

Troy Taylor, the owner of 4 pizza restaurant, found that many parents couldn't control their children and many children couldn't have meals quickly, so they disturbed(打扰)5 customers. Some people said that this was unfair. My Taylor explained 6 he did so. He said that the restaurant was near a busy road, so there might be some danger if the children7 good care of.8 he made up his mind to stop children from entering his restaurant.

Others supported 9 decision. They said they were bored of noisy children in restaurants and now they 10 finally have a place for adults only.

In fact, many other restaurants have 11 met the same problem. Some have done 12 , while others have tried to ban children during certain time of the day. There's one restaurant in Italy. It has been creative in 13 the problem. They give a family meal discount(折扣)to families with well-behaved children14 parents to control their children.

These methods may be15 for a while, but it is difficult to solve this problem completely.

 阅读理解

Everyone is born with the ability to learn. But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits. Research shows that successful learners have some good habits in common.

Creating an interest in what they learn

Studies show that if you are interested in something, your brain is more active and it is also easier for you to pay attention to it for a long time. Good learners often connect what they need to learn with something they are interested in. For example, if they need to learn English and they like music or sports, they can listen to English songs or watch sports programs in English. This way they will not get bored.

Practicing and learning from mistakes

Good learners think about what they are good at and what they need to practice more. Remember, "use it or lose it"! Even if you learn something well, you will forget it unless you use it. Practice makes perfect. Good learners are also not afraid of making mistakes. Alexander Graham Bell did not invent the telephone overnight. He succeeded by trying many times and learning from his mistakes.

Developing their study skills

It is not enough to just study hard. You have to know how to study. Good learners find out the best ways to learn well. For example, they may take notes by writing down key words or by drawing mind maps. Good learners also look for ways to review what they have learned. They may do this by reading their notes every day or by explaining the information to another student.

Asking questions

Good learners often ask questions during or after class. They even ask each other and try to find out the answers. Knowledge comes from questioning. Learning is a life-long journey because every day brings something new. Everything that you learn l becomes a part of you and changes you, so learn wisely and learn well.
