    *Listen more, talk less. Your phone gives out radiation when you talk or text, but not when you're listening or getting messages.

    *Hold the phone away from your body when you are talking, not {#blank#}3{#/blank#} your ear. Also, don't keep it in your pocket.

    *Choosing texting over talking. Phones give out less radiation when sending texts than when making calls.Texting also keeps radiation away from your head.

    * Poor signal? Stay off the phone. Fewer signal bars（信号数） on your phone {#blank#}4{#/blank#} that the phone needs to give out more radiation to work. Make and take calls [when your phone has a strong signal.

    A group of frogs(青蛙) were traveling through the forest, but unluckily two of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} fell into a hole. The other frogs tried to help them. When they saw how deep the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} was , they cried to the two frogs that they could not be saved. The two frogs didn't care and tried their {#blank#}3{#/blank#}to jump up out of the hole. The other frogs kept {#blank#}4{#/blank#}that they were sure to die. Finally, one of the two {#blank#}5{#/blank#}heard what the other frogs were saying and gave up. Then he fell {#blank#}6{#/blank#}and died.

    However, the other frog {#blank#}7{#/blank#}to jump as hard as he could.{#blank#}8{#/blank#} last, he made it out. When he got out, the other frogs asked, "Did you hear us?" The frog, who had a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}hearing, explained, "I thought you were encouraging me all the time."

    The story teaches us a lesson: There is power of life and death in the tongue(言语）.An encouraging word to those who are down can help them out {#blank#}10{#/blank#}a discouraging word can kill them.

    For most of us in China, we only have to turn on the tap to get clean water. We seldom think twice about where it comes from.

    Day after day, thousands of children in poor countries have to{#blank#}1{#/blank#}hours walking for miles to collect water. What's more, the water is dirty and can cause serious diseases, such as diarrhea(腹泻). It's hard to believe, but every 20 seconds a child dies as a result of a water-related disease.

    The international water-aid charity called Just a Drop{#blank#}2{#/blank#}clean water to some of the poorest areas in the world, by building wells, pipelines(永管)and toilets. The charity has helped about 1.5 million people {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

    Betty, from Uganda, is just one of the people who have been helped by Just al Drop. 11-yearold Betty had to walk two miles every day, carrying two heavy cans{#blank#}4{#/blank#}dirty pond water before Just a Drop placed a well in her village. "I used to get sick from the water. Now, I don't have to walk long distances and I feel much safer with this clean water."
