We didn't visit the museum{#blank#}1{#/blank#} {#blank#}2{#/blank#}the heavy snow.

    Today is 1st June. Betty and Jenny are in Paris. They arrived {#blank#}1{#/blank#} days ago.

    Yesterday, they visited the Louvre Museum. And in the evening, they {#blank#}2{#/blank#} their dinner in a French restaurant.

    This morning they went to the street {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Betty loved them. And she {#blank#}4{#/blank#} her grandma a present. In the afternoon, they went to the Eiffel Tower by {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

Tomorrow they're going to visit a famous palace and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} a trip on the River Seine by boat.

    Pollution is one important topic in China now. Many different kinds of pollution have increased while China is developing itself. Pollution is bad for animals and plants, and it even makes people's health{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. In our daily life, we can see different kinds of pollution in many places.

    Land pollution is{#blank#}2{#/blank#}by solid( 固体) waste, such as cans, bottles and some other things which aren't broken down{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. It makes the environment look very bad.

    However, air pollution is more serious than land pollution. It is much worse in cities and towns because of the fumes(废气) from{#blank#}4{#/blank#}and people's activities. When people drive their cars, fumes, which are mostly made up of CO2, NO2 and SO2, are given off.

    Grace is my good friend. She {#blank#}1{#/blank#} two brothers. Their names are Bob and Eric. These two boys are nice, and Grace loves {#blank#}2{#/blank#} very much.

    Bob is a middle school student. His school is near their home. Every day he goes to school on foot. Bob loves sports. On {#blank#}3{#/blank#} he often plays sports with his friends Frank and Alan. The two boys like sports, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. They want to be great basketball {#blank#}5{#/blank#} like Kobe and Yao Ming.

    Eric and Bob {#blank#}6{#/blank#} in the same school. Eric likes sports, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} he doesn't like playing sports. He only watches them {#blank#}8{#/blank#} TV. Bob often plays a joke on (开……的玩笑) Eric. He always says, "Hey, Eric! Let's {#blank#}9{#/blank#} sports now!" Eric never says he doesn't like playing sports. He only says, "Sorry! I'm busy now." Eric's answer is so interesting. It always {#blank#}10{#/blank#} Bob and Grace laugh.
