I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Penang in Malaysia this morning {#blank#}3{#/blank#} my family. It was {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and hot, so we decided {#blank#}5{#/blank#}to the beach near our hotel. My sister and I{#blank#}6{#/blank#} paragliding . I{#blank#}7{#/blank#} like I was a bird . It was so {#blank#}8{#/blank#}! For lunch, we had something very special——Malaysian yellow noodles. They were delicious! In Weld Quay, a really old place in Georgetown, we  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}the houses of the Chinese traders from 100 years ago. I wonder what life was like here in the past. I really enjoyed {#blank#}10{#/blank#}around the town.

    When a private plane flew off course some time ago, it crashed in the mountains and its pilot was killed. A young woman and her two baby sons, the only {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, were unhurt. It was the middle of winter. Snow {#blank#}2{#/blank#}thick on the ground. The woman knew that the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} village was miles away {#blank#}4{#/blank#}, she found a case nearby and turned it{#blank#}5{#/blank#} a bed, put the children inside it and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} them with ail the clothes she could find. During night, it got terribly cold. The woman kept as near as she {#blank#}7{#/blank#}to the children. The next day, she {#blank#}8{#/blank#} planes passing overhead and wondered {#blank#}9{#/blank#}she could send a signal. Then she had an idea. She stamped out the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} "SOS" in the snow. Eventually, a pilot saw the "SOS" and arrived on the scene to rescue the survivors.

Sandy: Mom, I'm really worried.

Mom: Why? What's the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}?

Sandy: I can't find my schoolbag.

Mom: Well, where did you last put it?

Sandy: I can't remember! I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a concert yesterday so it might still be in the museum hall.

Mom: Do you have anything {#blank#}3{#/blank#} in your schoolbag?

Sandy: No, just my books, my pink hair band and some tennis balls.

Mom: So it can't be {#blank#}4{#/blank#}

Sandy: Oh, wait! I went to a picnic after the concert. I remember I had my schoolbag with me at the picnic.

Mom: So could it still be at the park?

Sandy: Yes. I left earlier than the rest of my {#blank#}5{#/blank#} I'll call them now to check if anybody has it.
