    This book has inspired me in many ways.It made me realize that I'm so fortunate to have a caring and loving mom.As I read the book,I{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(notice) what the boy wanted was love from his mom,but that was impossible for him to get.{#blank#}5{#/blank#},his mom would abuse him.This book also taught me to appreciate and be happy{#blank#}6{#/blank#}what I have.I often cry because I'm unable to get new shoes or clothes.The child in the book was hardly surviving with the things{#blank#}7{#/blank#}he had.He hardly had enough clothes over{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(he) body to keep him from freezing and he didn't even have shoes.

    Easter Island, or Rapu Nui as it is known {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (local), is home­ to several hundred ancient human statues. After this remote Pacific island was settled by the Polynesians(波利尼西亚人), it remained {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(abandon) for centuries.     The Financial Times gave part of my job to a robot named Amy last week. For years I have been making podcast version(播客)of my column, but now I am faced with a tough competition.
