This is my 1. How do you like it? I like it very much. It's always tidy. You can see a map of China and 2 pictures on the walls. My classmates and I draw（画）the pictures. We have a soccer in 3classroom, but you can't see it. It's under the  4 desk.

    Our teachers are always very5. They do many things every day. We have our lessons 6 8:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon.  7, we like playing games. Soccer is my favorite. My classmates like to play  8 with me because I can play it very well. Then in the evening, we have two more classes. I like to be with my classmates. I  9 a good time with them every day.

    An officer(军官) is at a bus stop．He wants to take a1to see his girlfriend. He wants to tell her the2of his bus's arrive(到达)，so she can meet3at the stop on time. He wants to4her on a pay phone,5 he doesn't have a coin (硬币) for the phone．He wants someone to6him．

    A soldier(士兵) is near the stop. The omcer7over to the soldier and asks, "Do you have any coins8the phone?"

    "Let me have a look." says the soldier. "I'll see if(是否) I can help you."

    "Don't you know9 to speak to an officer?''says the officer. "Now let's start again．Do you have any coins…?"

    "No, sir."says the soldier10.

The day was Thankful Thursday. Thursday has become my day to go out and do charity(慈善) work with my two 1 . On this special Thursday, we had no idea exactly 2 we were going to do. At noon I 3to a McDonald's with my daughters because they kept telling me that they didn't have enough to eat at breakfast. There we saw some homeless(无家可归的) people in the street and we decided 4 lunch for them.

We ordered fifteen 5 from McDonald's and started to give them out. We were 6 to see those thankful people holding up the lunch bags.

    Then we noticed a dirty, old woman 7 at the corner(角落). We handed her our final lunch bag. When we 8 the car and wanted to drive home, she walked to our car and said, "Thank you, lady! No one has ever done 9 like this for me before. "Well, I'm glad that we were the 10 ,"I replied. "So, why don't you eat the lunch now?" I asked.

She just looked at me 11 her tired eyes and said, " I'm not going to eat this lunch. I have a little girl at home 12 she just loves McDonald's, but I can 13 buy it for her because I don't have the money. But tonight she can have McDonald's! "

    I don't know if the kids noticed(注意) the tears( 眼泪) in my eyes. So many times I questioned （询问）myself whether（是否） our acts of kindness were too 14 to make a difference. However, at that moment, I 15that we cannot do great things but we can do small things with great love.

Future of Soccer

    This summer, French soccer player Kylian Mbappe amazed the world. He "flew" across the 1, scoring goal after goal, and helped the French team become the world champion (冠军) in the 2018 World Cup. His latest achievement is also surprising.

    On Oct 14, Mbappe scored four goals in 13 minutes, which helped his team 2 the game. Then the 19-year-old rising superstar made the cover of Time magazine. It says Mbappe is the future of soccer.

Two weeks later, however, Mr Chen {#blank#}4{#/blank#}some good news. He {#blank#}5{#/blank#} about a health care project which provides medical {#blank#}6{#/blank#} for poor families in China. They only need to pay half the cost or even {#blank#}7{#/blank#}

Thanks to the project and the kindness of his family and neighbours, Mr Chen was able to receive an operation to prevent the illness from getting worse. Now he {#blank#}8{#/blank#} to his family. So far, the project {#blank#}9{#/blank#} more than 5,000 people receive medical aid. The Chinese government {#blank#}10{#/blank#}together with other countries and international organizations to do this at present. They hope to develop a new health care model for China.

I was on a train in Switzerland. The train came to a stop and a man said something, but I didn't know the language. Everyone started to get out of the train. An old woman saw me still sitting there. She could speak a little English and told me what the man said. She asked me where I was going. Then she talked with some other people, then came back, and told me that we had to take other trains to get there.

I was really lucky to meet the old woman. because I knew I couldn't take the right train by myself. Then we went from one train station to the next. The old woman was really kind. When we got to the last station, we left and said goodbye. Luckily, I got on my train to Rome in time. The old woman told me she also had to catch another train. I found that she needed to spend two hours going back home.

I was moved(感动) that day. An old woman spent so much time on trains just to help out a stranger.
