    The seasons in Australia are not like ours. When it is winter in china, it is summer there. June, July and August are the winter months; September, October and November are spring, the summer is in January, February and December, and March, April and May are the autumn months.

    A very large part of this country has no rain at all. The east coast (海岸地区) has rain all year, and there are no dry months there. The southeast winds blows (吹) here all the year. They bring rain from the sea. There is not much rain on the west side. The southeastern part of Australia has summer rain from the southeast winds. They only blow here in summer.

    The southwestern part of Australia has winter rain. The west winds blow over the southwest in winter only. In the north of Australia, there is no rain in winter. The rain comes in summer. The northwest winds bring it.

    Sometimes, it seems that with all the homework and stress, being a student can be the worst thing. For people who are being bullied (欺凌), however, having too much work to do is the least of their worries.

    Bullying comes in many different forms. It could be someone hitting you, someone sending you terrible messages on social media, or someone saying bad words to you. No matter how it happens, being bullied is never a nice experience.

Being bullied can do great harm to a child's personal development. It is hard for bullying victims to trust others. They often feel angry, no valuable, helpless and lost. And these feelings will further undermine(破坏) their ability to control their own life.

    So if you or someone you know is being bullied, how should you deal with it?

    Well, you need to find out why the bully is acting this way. The reasons behind school bullying are various. Children are now more easily influenced by violence in both real life and online. They want to gain power by bullying other students. Usually, they pick on the nicest or most well behaved person. Because this kind of persons seldom fight back. Some left-behind children become bullies because they lack (缺失) family education.

    Whatever the reason is, there are many different ways to deal with a bully. The clearest way is to share your problem with someone else. All bullying is wrong. It is important that you talk about the problem with someone you can trust. Usually the best way to end your problem is to talk to your teacher or parents. Or, in some cases, standing up to the bullies may change their behavior. If they know that their bullying doesn't work on you any more, they may stop. What's more, parents and schools should devote more time and efforts to the troubled children.

    Most importantly, remember this: If you're being bullied, it's not your fault. There's always someone to help you—you just need to ask first.

    If your children are learning to read, it's wonderful! Whatever they're reading, they're probably super-excited readers! But the fact is, reading is skill.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} 

    ◆Create a comfortable reading space.

    Choose a special place with right furnishings(装饰), blankets and pillows for your children and put a bookcase for your children's books.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}If your children feel like they have got their own special place for reading, they will probably spend time in their little space with all their new favorite books.

    If you want your children to learn to love reading, set aside a few minutes every day to read together, no matter how busy you are.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} Plan to go to bed a few minutes earlier each night so your children have the time to choose a book to read. Besides, reading aloud to your children can make them more willing to read on their own.

    ◆Make the library and bookstore a special treat.

    Whether your kids are big readers or not, they are only children. They may be excited about new clothes and toys, but not books! Try to use that excitement to help your children love to read. Making a special treat of spending some time at the library or bookstore can be the perfect way to get your children excited about reading.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}

He is never late for school. Classes begin at 8: 00 a. m. He has four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon. He has lunch at 12: 30 p. m. at home with his parents. They both work as reporters at a TV station. After school, sometimes he plays volleyball with his classmates, and sometimes he reads books in the school library. He goes back home at 4: 40 p. m. After supper, he always studies Chinese. He goes to bed at about 9: 10 p. m. He likes China and he thinks Chinese people are friendly and he believes he can make many friends here.
