Every country has its favourite food. In some countries, people(人们) eat rice every day. They often eat it with meat, fish and vegetables. Australians(澳大利亚人) eat a lot of fish, and they eat a lot of rice, too. In England(英国), the favourite food is fried fish and French fries. In the USA(美国) people like hamburgers a lot. And they like to have cold drinks. In Canada, people eat bread with butter(黄油) on it. In India, people like to eat hot food. Some people eat only fruit and vegetables. They think green food is good for them. They don't like to eat meat and fish.

    My name is George．I'm from England．Now I'm studying in Germany．I get to school at 7：30 every morning．I find many of my schoolmates come to school by bike．  ①   

    This is an interesting thing for me．In England people usually drive，take a bus or walk somewhere，for example，to school．In Germany, I often see people，even people over eighty years old going somewhere by bike．It makes me think：  ②

    Chinese are very generous when they begin to educate their children. No caring about money, parents often send their children to the best schools or even abroad. They also want their children to take extra-course activities because they think their children may have a good start in life. The Chinese believe that the more expensive an education is, the better it is. So parents will spend a lot of money on education.

    However, what most parents fail to see is that the best education they can give their children is usually very cheap. Parents can see that their children are skilled in some areas while poor in others. What most parents fail to realize is that today's children are lack of(缺乏)self-respect and self-confidence.

    The problem is that parents are only educating their children on how to study well, but parents are not teaching them the most important skills they need to be confident, happy and clever.

    Parents can achieve this by teaching practical skills like cooking, sewing and doing other housework. These activities are teaching a child not only to read, but also to think. And that is more important.

    The purpose of students who come to school is to study.  But studying needs right ways. The following opinions are ways of studying.

    The best time to read is morning. Because in the morning, the air is fresh and our minds are clear.

    When we study, we must be patient(有耐心的). If we don't understand a text well, we must read it again. We should not read the next until we have learned the first one well.

    When we are studying, we must put our hearts into the book. We cannot read absentmindedly(心不在焉),or we couldn't get anything form the book while we are reading.

    We must always ask "why". If we can't understand well, write it down and ask our teachers or parents, brothers or friends, in any possible ways.

    Though there are many ways for studying, however, the above mentioned will be helpful if we can keep them in heart.
