Known as the mother river by all the Chinese people, the Huanghe River(Yellow river) is the second longest river in China after the Changjiang River. It is 5464 kilometers long. It starts from the Kunlun Mountains northwestern Qinghai Province. It runs through nine provinces and flows to Bohai Sea in Shangdong Province. The first appearance of the name “ Yellow River”is in The Book of Han. The word “yellow”describes the color of the muddy water in the lower course of the river.

    Friends are important in our life, because no one wants to be lonely. However, some people have difficulty in making friends and they often feel lonely. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} According to a new study from Chicago University, the reason is that this kind of people have brains（脑）different from common people. And they often feel unsafe when facing strangers.

⑶{#blank#}3{#/blank#} Coal and natural gas are the most common sources of energy that can be turned into electricity. The burning of these things is a main cause in world air pollution. Reducing your reliance(依赖）on electricity is a great way to play a part in saving the planet.

⑷{#blank#}4{#/blank#} If you can drive and fly less often, you'll do a lot to help save the planet.

Outdoor Education Camp

Dear Parents,

    Our Outdoor Education Camp is just around the corner! We are excited to be going to camp so that students can better {#blank#}1{#/blank#} a sense of teamwork and community. Students will be improving their communication, problem-solving, and cooperation skills, as well as continuing to build self-confidence.

    While at camp students will join in classes and activities on the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} course. We will start in the low ropes, and progress to the high ropes.

    The camp will last for three days in Red Valley, Colorado. Students need to be at school at 7 a. m. on July 28h. They'll {#blank#}3{#/blank#} at 7p.m. on July 30h.

    The Parent Committee have made a great effort to raise some money. So the cost of the camp is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} dollars for each student.
