   The following informations is about the American school system. Secondary school in the US usual covers seven years, grades six to twelve. Ninth to twelfth grades were high school. In the end of twelfth grade, American students receive the high school diploma. Students need a high school diploma if they want to go to a college. The school year is dividing into two semesters, the first of that is September through December; and the second January through May. Students start school at 7:50 am. or finish at 3 pm. They can also take part all kind of activities.

I had a interesting dream last night. I dreamed that I took part in a race. At first, I could not to run very fast and fell behind. So I didn't lose heart and kept running. All the students on the playground cheer me on," Come on!” I was so encouraged that I ran faster and fast till I caught up all the other runners. I felt as if flying like a superman. In the end, I get to the finishing line first. I won the race. I felt very proudly of myself. Many of my classmate threw me up into the air. Just at that time I woke up and found me still in bed!

My mother trains dolphins every workday. They practise in the pool. She hears the dolphins talk and sang. That sounds really cool! There are so many animal job to choose from, but which one is right for them? I'll have to wait and see!

    Hello, everyone! I would like to share with you my first travel abroad. Last summer vacation, I, together with several classmates, took part an exchange program with the American school. During our visit, I stayed in host families, that gave us an opportunity to learn about American society. The main part of our program was to experience of the school life. Comparing with Chinese students, American students are more open and active. Besides, they have less homeworks and fewer exams. So we also have a lot in common, like being crazy about NBA. When the visit was over, I make friends with some American students, who became very interested in Chinese culture. The American students also benefited many from the program.

    I live in a peacefully village in the countryside where we have many friendly neighbors. Several day ago, a heavy rain hit the surrounding region. Several dams in the upper reaches of the river was broken through, cause a flood in the river nearby. Two bridges were also washed away. When a flood drew back, many big fish were trapped in the river. They had raised in the dams. Every day, one of their neighbors went to catch up fish with a net.

    Yesterday, the neighbor came to give us four big fresh fish, that had been frozen in his fridge. We had fish soup for lunch that day. What delicious!
