Last Friday, as usual I went home by bike. But at a crossing, I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (sudden) knocked an old man off his bike. I hurried over and found that his leg {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (injure). Nervous and worried, I called my mom and told her what had happened. We decided to take him to the hospital first.

    Shortly after we arrived at the hospital, my mother came. I had some doubt {#blank#}3{#/blank#} there was anything seriously wrong with the old man. The doctor gave the old man a {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (detail) examination. To our delight and relief, there was nothing seriously wrong with him. We thanked the doctor and left. After that, we went back to the place {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the old man's bike was parked, only {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (find) it didn't work. So I immediately found a repairman to get it {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (fix). Soon he finished {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (repair) it. Before the old man left, my mom offered him our cell phone number in case he needed to contact us. Then the old man got on his bike and we waved goodbye to each other.

    If I {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (ride) my bike carefully, I would have avoided the accident. Consequently, the unexpected accident made me realize that in the first place we should be careful, but once it occurs, we should take {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (responsible).

    I believe doing good deeds can bring me happiness. I've been making breastpins (胸针) and gifting them to everyone possible and if you ask me why I do it, it's because {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the joy which just bursts forth from my inner heart. The smile that lights up at the sight of the breastpin is worth anything you'd wish for and it goes much {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (far).     We exchange warm hugs, smiles and a million “thank you”. This hobby that has so at- traded me has opened my heart and brought me out of my cocoon (茧).     This morning, I received {#blank#}9{#/blank#} heart-warming post on Instagram (照片墙) from a friend who I {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (give) a blue and white spotted breastpin before.
