         With the development of people's living condition, more and morepeople possess their own cars. Some of us think it is good to own a car. Forinstance, it's convenient, fast and comfortable means of transportation. Moreover, it shows that people are becoming richer and the country is much morestronger. It also made relative businesses and industries develop faster.

       However, others have different opinions, thinking that cars giveup waste gases and pollute the environment around. Too much cars will have somebad effects, such as more accidents and crowdedness. Besides, lack parking lotsis another big problem.

As far as I'm concerned, we ought to think careful before buyingcars. As if we have cars, we may use it less.

    Last week our class voted on how to do for you class outing: visit the Singapore Zoo and go to the Night Safari(夜间动物园). We girls wanted to go to the zoo, but since we are in minority, we lost to the boys, that all wanted the safari. We got the admission rate for the students, which was great since I still had not enough money to buy a brochure about the park as well as something at the souvenir shops. The safari was scary(吓人的)but real fun. As we took the ride across the park's dark jungle, we could see the eyes of many creatures look at us. Most of the animal there sleep when there sunlight and wake up at night.

    This morning, I was jogging in the park while I caught sight of a wallet on a bench. Clear, someone had left it there in accident. I picked up and checked the contents. Inside it, I found some money or a card with a phone number. Believing that the owner would be worried, I immediately try the number. A man answered it in an anxious voice. Hearing that I had his wallet, he sighed with relief and told me he would come right away. Ten minutes late, the man arrived. After confirm he was the owner, I returned the wallet back to him. With his thumb up, he expressed his thank to me repeatedly. Seeing the smile on his face, I felt happy that I was able to help.

    One rainy day while I was walking home with one of my friend, a truck came to a stop besides us. The driver put the window down and offered us a umbrella because he found we were wet through. I stood there and couldn't believe in that a complete stranger is so thoughtful. The man insisted, so I grateful accepted the offer, thanked him and watched the truck disappear down the road. This man might need the umbrella himself, and he preferred to give them to someone else. It was a lesson to us that it was possible give without expect anything in return.

    I went shopping with my wife. We have a lot of things to buy them. We drove to the center of the city and stopped our car in front of the shop. An hour late, we came back to the car.     The teenage year from 13 to 19 were the most difficult time for me. They were also the best and worse years in my life. At the first, I thought I knew everything and could make decisions by yourself. However, my parents didn^'t seem to think such. They always tell me what to do and how to do it. At one time, I even felt my parents couldn't understand me so I hoped I could be freely from them. I showed them I was independent by wear strange clothes. Now I am leaving home to college. At last, I will be on my own, but I still want to have my parents to turn to whenever need help.
