    Puerto La Cruz is not a big city but it{#blank#}1{#/blank#} very special. There are fifteen beaches there. Did{#blank#}2{#/blank#} go there? I did.

    On July 16th, my friends and I visited Vallecito Beach. Because it's not far from the city center, we{#blank#}3{#/blank#}to take the bus. But there were too many people, and we {#blank#}4{#/blank#}over thirty minutes for the bus.

    Vallecito Beach is a(n){#blank#}5{#/blank#} place. We had a good time there. And there is a(n){#blank#}6{#/blank#}near the beach. We climbed the hill then. After that, we felt{#blank#}7{#/blank#} so I cooked fish by{#blank#}8{#/blank#}. All my friends said the fish was very delicious!

    A farmer grew some{#blank#}1{#/blank#}in his garden. One day his wife was ill and he had no money. He had to{#blank#}2{#/blank#}some cabbages and carrots in the market. The next morning he took two baskets of vegetables to the town. But it was raining hard that afternoon and there were{#blank#}3{#/blank#}people in the street. When his vegetables were sold out, it was dark. He bought some medicine and hurried to his village.

    On his way home he saw a person lying on the road. He placed his{#blank#}4{#/blank#}on the ground and was going to help the person to{#blank#}5{#/blank#}. At that time he found it was a dead man and there was much blood on his body. He was so afraid that he{#blank#}6{#/blank#}quickly, without taking the baskets with him.

    The next afternoon the farmer was sent to the police station. "Have you killed the man?" "No, no, sir," the farmer said. "Did you see who killed the man?" "No, sir."

    It was a cold morning. There {#blank#}1{#/blank#} few people in the street. A young man {#blank#}2{#/blank#} on Henry's taxi while he was reading a newspaper. "{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the station, hurry up!" the young man shouted! Harry tried his best, but he couldn't {#blank#}4{#/blank#} fast in the busy street.
