And it made me think that maybe I need to set time aside {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(tell)the people in my life how much I appreciate what they did. Say “thank you” to the guy behind the counter, telling him that you appreciate how hard he {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(work); tell your daughter that you are proud of her {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(perform)at school; tell your mom that you notice how much she does {#blank#}8{#/blank#}the family. Sometimes when a long time goes by without {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(recognize) for the good we do, we start to get upset, but a simple statement of appreciation could make us become {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(energy )again for a good long time.

    Tea is one of the{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(much) popular drinks in the world. You make it by pouring hot water over the dried leaves of a tea plant. For {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (hundred) of years people believed that tea could cure illnesses, and they used {#blank#}3{#/blank#}as medicine. Today scientists know that tea contains chemicals that prevent cells from dying. Most teas have caffeine in them, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}makes you feel more active. Some people have problems{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(drink) tea because it can cause sleeplessness.

    The tea plant{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(grow) best in tropical and temperate places where rain falls throughout the year. Teas can be grown from sea level {#blank#}7{#/blank#}about 2,000 metres, but the best quality grows in higher regions.

    Tea comes from the leaves and buds of tea plants. Wild plants can be up to 9 metres high, however, on tea plantations,{#blank#}8{#/blank#}( pull ) the leaves {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (easy), people cut them back to a bush of about a metre in height. It takes a plant three to five years before it is ready for picking.

    A picker can harvest about 20 kg of tea {#blank#}10{#/blank#}day. On large tea plantations the leaves are harvested by machines, but the quality of tea is higher when the leaves are picked by hand.

    Cards and digital(数字的) technologies {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(kill) off cash slowly, but is it a cause for concern? Not {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(necessary). Here are some ways of making the most of digital finance.

    Cash is no longer king. Over recent years fewer and fewer transactions have been made with cash. The most recent figures show coins and notes are used just 34% of {#blank#}3{#/blank#} time, down from 63% a decade ago. And usage {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(predict) to fall to just 10% in 15 years.

    Instead we're paying with cards and digital technologies. Some of this is down to user choice, with contactless cards and smartphones making spending {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(fast) and more convenient.

    But it's also being forced upon us. Some retailers are refusing physical money as they can avoid the high bank charges levied(征收) at them for {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(handle) cash. Meanwhile it's harder to get your hands on notes as cash machines and {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(bank) disappear from the high street. And these are trends which are likely {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(increase) in the coming years.

    This could be bad news if you still primarily use cash, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} that's how you pay your bills or how you budget. For some, cash is just what you know. For {#blank#}10{#/blank#}, cash is a necessity­especially when going digital is the alternative.

    As a result this move towards cashless society makes many us easy.
