    Staying focused (专注) can help you complete studying for a test or your work an hour early. There are various practical steps to help you focus better.

    Whether you're doing work in your office or studying at home, having a clean spacecan help you focus and get your work done with more attention. Remove what can attract you from your work or the task.

    Make a to-do list. If you list all the things to do, however small, you will feel more successful when you check those items off your list.

    Give yourself a certain time for each task. Managing your time goes hand in hand with your to do list. Write down how long it'll take you to finish each task on the list. For example, you could write: "Go over the notes: 30 minutes. Do the homework: 2 hours. "Then, try to complete each task within each given time.

    Make time for breaks during the day. You should take at least a 5-10 minute break for every hour of work, or a 3-5 minute break for every half an hour of work. Take breaks in a .place where you won't be troubled, so that you can relax your mind. Sometimes you can also look out of the window, take a short walk outside, or just walk up a few stairs. These short breaks will make you more energetic to return to your work.

A. Setting a goal will do good to you.

B. Organize your workspace.

C. It's not easy to get yourself better focused.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} While it seems to make sense that covering your toothbrush would protect,the opposite is the case.With a cover on your brush,a more humid environment is created and more likely to encourage growth of germs.Wash your toothbrush when done,and allow it to air dry.Make sure you store it away from the toilet.

    Hand sanitizer(洗手液) does not always replace soap and water washing.Hand sanitizer is great when you're not near a sink,and need to clean your hands.But given the choice of a spritz of sanitizer or good old soap and water,choose the soap and water route.{#blank#}4{#/blank#}  Lather up and scrub hard for at least 20 seconds,and wash between your fingers and the back of your hands.Don't skimp with the hand sanitizer either—cover the same hand areas as for soap and water.

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#} If you freeze foods that you suspect might be spoiled,freezing them will not kill the germs already in the food.Freezing prevents further bacterial growth,but when you thaw it out,the bacteria continue to increase and pollute your food.

    Although many Chinese students say their knowledge of English grammar is good, most would admit that their spoken English is poor. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} However, their spoken English does not have to remain poor. I would suggest that there may be some reasons for their problems with spoken English.

    First, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Obviously the better answer is to expand their vocabulary. However, you can speak, with a limited vocabulary if your attitude is positive. Others will follow you as long as you use the words that you know.

    Second, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Sometimes they make mistakes when they are speaking because they are shy and nervous. Yet students should remember that their goal should be FLUENCY NOT ACCURACY. You want to get your message across, to talk to someone in English, as quickly and as well as you can, even though sometimes you may use a wrong word or tense, but it doesn't matter because the person you are speaking to will understand you and make allowance for any mistakes he hears.

    Third, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.You have one mouth but two ears! All that hearing is necessary for you to start speaking.

    Fourth, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Instead of actively seeking out opportunities to improve their spoken English, they passively wait for speaking opportunities to come to them and wonder why their spoken English always remains poor. If you have this proactive outlook,then you will see English opportunities wherever you go.

    Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they are meant to be there.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} They teach you a lesson, or help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#}They may be a roommate, a neighbor, a professor, a friend, a lover, or even a complete stranger. Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible at first, but later you will find that without those difficulties you would have never realized your potential. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and completely pointless.

    The people you meet who affect your life, help to create who you are and who you become. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}In fact, they are sometimes the most important ones.

    If someone loves you, give love back to them not only because they love you, but also because they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.

Little Habits Make a Big Difference

    Everything around us is changing at amazing speed, it seems ̶ but some things will always remain the same. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Some of our daily habits have the power to always give us happiness and lead us toward success. Here are some little habits that can make a big difference:

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Many studies have linked early rising with success. An early morning wake-up carries benefits including better planning and anticipation (预料) of problems, and more time to do the things that make you happy.

    Happiness comes to those who are curious.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} As long as you live, there will always be something to learn, and as long as you follow your heart and your passions, you won't miss out on learning.

    Believe in yourself and all that you are.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Confidence is the key to success—the thing that lets you look at the past without regret, stay grounded in the present, and prepare for the future without fear.

    A day well spent gets you a good night sleep.

    Enough sleep makes you feel healthier and happier, and it's more than lifting up your mood or removing exhaustion. Adequate sleep is a key part of your health and inner happiness. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

    It doesn't take a huge effort to make a significant change in your life—using one or two tiny habits may be all you need. Get started today and you'll soon be experiencing the rewards.
