From his own version of Kim Kardashian's "Internet-breaking" picture to rocking the "Leia Buns"look,Mark Udovitch,28,hopes his celebrity impersonations (名人模仿) will help raise money for cancer patients.

Dressed in a garbage bag, black cleaning gloves and a plastic bag tie,the recreation (娱乐) of Kim Kardashion's picture is one of Mark's favorite celebrity impersonations.

Game of Throne characters are also a popular choice, and the radiation doctor has cosplayed (角色扮演) many famous figures.Mark says the reaction to the pictures has been positive, with a lot of laugh from his co-workers."I have gotten a very positive response from many other radiation doctors, who privately message me,saying how much respect they have for me,"he said.

But while the radiation doctor is having fun with his wild and strange creations, the cause behind it is sad.A patient once told him she was more devastated about losing her hair than surgery. It was at that moment that Mark decided to stop getting haircuts and start growing his hair. The radiation doctor will shave his hair off in a "Dry July Shave Off" and donate it to make false hair for cancer patients.

Mark recalled,"Over the course of 2.5 years,my mates have been absolutely belting me with comments about who I look like with my long hair.I took a photo of me impersonating Scott Stapp, the lead singer of Creed,as a joke last year and posted it on Facebook. It got 150+ likes, which is large for me since I am not very social media savvy(懂行的).Since that image got so much notice that I wonder how many celebrities I could actually impersonate in the lead.Shaving my head may be used as a means of raising awareness."

How to save money to visit Shanghai Disneyland?

The “happiest place on earth” is a top destination on many families' bucket lists. But taking a vacation to Disney World can be difficult to do on a budget. There are some considerations that you can make to reduce the cost of your Disney World vacation.

1)Buy Souvenirs in Advance

Disney has influenced practically every industry, which makes it easy to find Disney items anywhere, from Walmart, Target, and your local grocery store to department stores and Amazon. You can save a lot of money by purchasing items before your trip at these less-expensive places than at Disneyland.

2)Make an Autograph Book

An autograph (亲笔签名)book is seen as a must-have by many Disneyland enthusiasts and is a memory you can take home with you. These books can cost anywhere from $7.95 to $19.95 at the Disney Store and up to $30 for the latest-and-greatest autograph book at Disneyland, such as the park's 60th anniversary edition. Other choices can get the job done for under $5. For example, you can buy a small photo album; cute pads or notebooks.

3)Eat Breakfast Before You Arrive

Breakfast is almost as pricey as lunch or dinner if you eat inside the Disneyland parks. If you have a hotel with a free breakfast, take advantage of it. If you want to eat out, eat at a local restaurant that is inexpensive or has a kids' menu, such as McDonald's which is close to the park.

4)Take Advantage of Discounts Offered to Special Groups

Disney offers a wide variety of discounts, including for military service members, college students, teachers, and youth groups. If you think you might qualify for a special discount or group rate, call the Disneyland Resort to book tickets.

Most people agree that honesty is a good thing. But does Mother Nature agree? Animals can't talk, but can they lie in other ways? Can they lie with their bodies and behavior? Animal experts may not call it lying, but they do agree that many animals, from birds to chimpanzees, behave dishonestly to fool other animals. Why? Dishonesty often helps them survive.

Many kinds of birds are very successful at fooling other animals. For example, a bird called the plover sometimes pretends to be hurt in order to protect its young. When a predator(猎食动物)gets close to its nest, the plover leads the predator away from the nest. How? It pretends to have a broken wing. The predator follows the “hurt” adult, leaving the baby birds safe in the nest.

Another kind of bird, the scrub jay, buries its food so it always has something to eat. Scrub jays are also thieves. They watch where others bury their food and steal it. But clever scrub jays seem to know when a thief is watching them. So they go back later, unbury the food, and bury it again somewhere else.

Birds called cuckoos have found a way to have babies without doing much work. How? They don't make nests. Instead, they get into other birds' nests secretly. Then they lay their eggs and fly away. When the baby birds come out, their adoptive parents feed them.

Chimpanzees, or chimps, can also be sneaky. After a fight, the losing chimp will give its hand to the other. When the winning chimp puts out its hand, too, the chimps are friendly again. But an animal expert once saw a losing chimp take the winner's hand and start fighting again.

Chimps are sneaky in other ways, too. When chimps find food that they love, such as bananas, it is natural for them to cry out. Then other chimps come running. But some clever chimps learn to cry very softly when they find food. That way, other chimps don't hear them, and they don't need to share their food.

As children, many of us learn the saying “You can't fool Mother Nature.” But maybe you can't trust her, either.

Gardeners such as Prince Charles who claim that talking to plants encourages them to grow have long been seen as a little silly. But scientists have discovered evidence which suggests the Royal may actually be right and they could be listening to him. Biologists at Tel Aviv University in Israel have found that flowers can act as a plant's "ears" to help them detect the sound of approaching insects.

When the researchers played recordings of flying bees to evening primrose flowers, within three minutes the sugar concentrations in the nectar (花蜜) of its flowers increased. The fluid, produced to attract pollinating (授粉) insects, was on average 20 percent higher in flowers exposed to the buzz compared to those left in silence or exposed to higher pitched sounds. Professor Lilach Hadany, who led the study, said: "Our results document for the first time that plants can rapidly respond to pollinator sounds in an ecologically relevant way."

However, Prof Hadany said a plant's ability to respond to pollinators may be weakened in city environments or beside a busy road. While plants require water, sunlight and the right temperature to grow, it is widely believed they do not have senses in the way animals do.

But the study, published on the open-science website BioRxiv, suggests the efforts of gardeners who talk to their plants may not be in vain. "Plants' ability to hear has implications well beyond pollination—plants could potentially hear and respond to herbivores, other animals, the elements, and possibly other plants," Prof Hadany added.

A month-long experiment conducted by the Royal Horticultural Society in 2009 found female voices appear to speed up the growth of tomatoes. The research offers a possible explanation — women's voices were at the right frequency for the plants to hear.

When it comes to recycling the household waste, people have done it for about two decades. However, there's still some confusion about what can and what can't be recycled. With advances in technology, there are more things that can be recycled.

COFFEE PODS (咖啡荚)

On average, Australians are using more than three million coffee pods per day, and about 1.5 million households have coffee machines. While the pods are disastrous for the environment, they can still be recycled. Nespresso has a free post-back programme and drop-off points run by TerraCycle, so you can take the pods and directly drop off at Nespresso stores.

LIGHT BULBS

Rather than throwing light bulbs into the bin, some councils run specific recycling stations, which allow you to drop off these kinds of items. If you do regularly recycle household glass, remember all glass should be washed and have lids removed.

PIZZA BOXES

Normally pizza boxes don't make it into recycling because they're covered in grease (油脂) and leftover bits of cheese. When a pizza box is too greasy, it won't be taken to a recycling processing plant. If possible, remove as much of the leftovers as you can before recycling. If the pizza box can't be recycled, tear off the lid which can still be recycled.

HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES

Household batteries can also be recycled. Batteries that do end up in landfills can cause a serious problem to the environment as they can release poisonous chemicals into the soil which are harmful to both humans and animals. Button-cell batteries, which are used in hearing aids and watches, can also be recycled.
