I still remember my kindergarten(幼儿园)teacher, Mrs, White. She looked just like Snow White, 1   she had the same bright eyes and short dark hair.

 We used to  2   a lot . And I would show what I wrote to Mrs. White for correction(批改). She would look at my writing and see many mistakes in it. But she 3 made any red correction and she always gave a star. I was feeling  4 of my writing each time I got a star. But it  5  my mother. So one day, when she met Mrs. White at a parent-teacher meeting. Mum asked her why she never corrected my6  and why she never said no to her child.

 Mrs. White said, “The children are just beginning to get  7about using words. Spelling and grammar can wait. We can't  8  that interest with a red pen.”As it was a long time ago, my mother could only remember the main idea of 9 Mrs. White said about my writing.  However, I grew up learning to use words with loving care and  10  like that.

If Mrs. White had used her red pen more often, I 11 wouldn't be telling you about this now, Whenever I look back on those encouraging 12 from Mrs.White, I feel they just look 13 real ones in the night sky-bright, shiny, and guiding me on my way somewhere. I do believe she was such a 14teacher, who tried to use a red pen less to keep the joy, wonder and excitement in a child's 15 .

 Thanks to Mrs. White, I have no fear about writing. Also, I'm not afraid of any mistake in my life!

    Jack had a very strange dream yesterday evening. He dreamed that he lived in a jungle (丛林) in Africa with many 1. He made friends with monkeys, snakes and giraffes. Every day he woke up early in the morning and went 2 for food. He ate fruit and insects. After breakfast, he had a meeting with the monkeys. They spoke to him in a (n) 3 language but he was able to understand them. Then he met the snakes for lunchtime. During lunchtime, they discussed 4 to do about the tiger. The tiger was their enemy (敌人).It wanted to eat 5 of them and they were afraid of it. Finally, they thought of a plan. The monkeys and the snakes' 6 was that Jack should try to catch the tiger while it was sleeping. So, when the tiger was taking its afternoon nap (打盹), Jack took his 7 and quietly walked towards the tiger. Jack was very quiet, but the tiger was sleeping very 8.The tiger opened its eyes, looked at him and gave a loud roar (咆哮). Jack was so afraid that he forgot to run away. The tiger jumped on him and 9 as it opened its mouth to eat him, he woke up. When he opened his 10, Jack found that his pet cat was licking (舔) his face. He was so relieved (宽慰的).

    Mr. Smith is a good teacher. He teaches English very well. He is1to his students， so they like him a lot. There are fifty students in 2 class. Mr. Smith always 3 English in class. He and his students are 4 friends， too.

    Now some of the students 5 on the playground. Bill and Mike 6. Tom and John are jumping. Mary and Lucy are 7 a kite. Are Lily and Maria flying a kite， 8? No， they are playing 9. What's Mr. Smith doing? Look! He is also playing 10them. How happy they are!

    June 22nd, 1993 is a day that I will never forget. It was on that day that my life1forever.

    I was a nurse working in a2. After being a single mother (单亲妈妈) for 12 years, I was finally 3 to enjoy life with my four children.

    4on June 22nd, 1993, I had an accident on the way to work. I was seriously hurt. I 5 my job, and I believed my life was over, too.

    I had a lot of surgeries (外科手术). After the first surgery, I was6helpless and could do nothing for myself. Several months later, the doctor said there was 7 else he could do and he let me go home.

    At home, I had to spend most of my time in the wheelchair. Though my children8me carefully, I was upset and lost interest in everything.

    After several months of being sad, I started to look at my life differently. Now I realize9the important thing in life is. I enjoy spending time with my family. And I start to appreciate (欣赏) the little things that I 10 to care about before. Now I feel I'm living a new life.
