Jack is my best friend. He is in a new school. He likes it very much. It's not far from his home. And it usually takes him 10 minutes to get to school by bike. School begins at 8: 00 every morning. But these days Jack is often late for school. This morning, he is late again. The teacher is very angry.

    "How do you usually come to school?" asks the teacher. "By bike." Jack answers. "What time do you usually get up?" "At 6: 30." "Well, it's not late. What time do you usually leave home?" "I leave home at 7: 55." "Why not leave home earlier?" "My mother is ill (生病的). She stays in bed all day. I must look after her and give her medicine at the right time， so I'm often late for school," says Jack with tears (泪水) in his eyes. "I see, Jack, you are a good boy!" says the teacher.

Several years ago, when I was teaching at a middle school, a girl sent me a message. She found someone write a very1message on her locker. She made a picture of it and then sent it to me asking for2.

Well, the following day, the girl came to me with a boy. She showed me a4she had received. It was a heartfelt apology. I6wanted to do something to try to make up for my meanness."

My heart felt so full of7for this boy. I told him how8he was to come forward and how amazing it was that he did something9to correct his mistake. I10the girl and asked her if she could forgive him. Without hesitation, she said, "Yes."

I think middle school students are not little children any more, and not grown-ups yet. It is normal that they make mistakes. Every day I remind myself that although I am an educator, my students truly love me.

Einstein has to speak at an important science meeting.  On the way there, he tells his driver that looks a bit like him, "I'm sick of all these meetings. I always say the same things over and over!"

The driver agrees, "You're right. As your driver, I attend all of them, and even though I don't know anything about science, I could give the speech in your place. "

"That's a great idea!" says Einstein. "Let's exchange our places then!"

So they exchange clothes. As soon as they arrive, the driver dressed as Einstein goes on stage and starts giving the usual speech, while the real Einstein, dressed as the car driver, attends it.

But in the crowd, there is one scientist who wants to show off and thinks of a very difficult question to ask Einstein, hoping he won't be able to answer. So this guy stands up and cuts in the speech by raising his very difficult question. The whole room goes silent, holding their breath, waiting for the answer.

The driver looks at him, dead in the eye, and says, "Sir, your question is so easy that I'm going to let my driver answer it for me."

    A British man learned the skills to perform Beijing Opera, making people enjoy his lively performance of the Monkey King.

Ghaffar Pourazar, born in Iran, is full of interest about China. In 1993, he happened to watch Beijing Opera which professionals from Beijing performed in London. Ghaffar fell in love with the beautiful voices, colorful costumes, excellent shows and so on. So after one year, he arrived in China alone and became a student of Beijing Opera at a Beijing school.

At the age of 32, he had to learn with children every day. For him, it was difficult to learn the dialogue in Beijing Opera and it was even his biggest obstacle. But he never gave up.

Four years later, he began to learn to perform the Monkey King, a traditional character(人物) from the Chinese classic story Journey to the West. He arrived in the workroom an hour earlier than other performers and also bought books and CDs to better understand the character. He once got a top international prize(奖品) for performing the Monkey King.

To help more people enjoy Beijing Opera, Ghaffar often teaches the traditional art form in schools in the US, Britain and other countries. Ghaffar led(带领) a group of actors to perform 66 times in a month and a half in the United States. He also led a 48-member team to perform in Malaysia. In the past 10 years, he has performed(已经表演了) more than 400 shows.

A little bear is called Herry. He doesn't like brushing1. Every day his mother2to him,

"Herry, it's time for you to brush your teeth and go to bed.""I know, Mom." says Herry unhappily. He goes to the3and turns on the tap(龙头). He keeps water running. His mother thinks he is brushing his teeth.

" His mother comes into his bedroom and says, "What's6?" "I don't have any teeth now, Mom! I7to brush my teeth every day. " He cries again and again. His mother takes him to see the8. The doctor says, "Oh, little bear! I am9to say you can't eat any food now. There aren't any teeth in your mouth."

The little bear cries and cries10. Suddenly he wakes up, "Oh, thank goodness! It is a dream. A terrible dream." He gets up at once and goes to brush his teeth. He tells himself to brush his teeth every day.
