World famous scientist Stephen Hawking(霍金) died {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the age of seventy-six in his home in Cambridge, England on March 14. British Prime Minister Theresa May said Hawking was one of{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(great)  scientists of his time. She also said, "His achievements will not{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(forget)."

    Hawking was one of the most respected scientists in the modern history of{#blank#}4{#/blank#}/ 'fiziks/. Because of an uncommon disease(疾病) , he was kept to a wheelchair.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}, the disease did not stop Hawking from studying. He used every new day that life offered{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(continue) his research of the universe(宇宙). He said, "Where there is life, there is hope." He developed {#blank#}7{#/blank#}way of thinking about problems in his mind to reach a solution.

    This way of thinking has led to his important discoveries. He was{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(one) person to present the idea of some special energy in the universe. At the same time, Hawking tried to explain many of these difficult{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(science) ideas to more people.     A group of students have helped their classmate Cheng Dongdong for seven years in Anhui. Cheng, 16, was unable to walk after he got a terrible {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (ill) at the age of seven."     Thanks for your message. Yes, I'm having a great time on my exchange program in France. I was a bit nervous before I arrived here, but there was no reason to be. My host family is really nice.

She always talks to me in French to help me practice. And you wouldn't believe how quickly my French has{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(improve)!     My biggest challenge is learning how to behave at the dinner table. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}you can imagine, things are really different from the way they are at home. For example, you shouldn't put your bread on your plate. You{#blank#}6{#/blank#} (suppose) to put it on the table! I thought that was pretty strange at first, but now I'm used to it.
