Sunny He Huang is an Edinburgh nurse. Last year, she became the first person from China to have climbed all 282 0f the highest mountains in Scotland. The mountains, all higher than 3,000 feet, are known as Munros.

Huang is from Liaoning Province. She started the 70 Munros Challenge three years ago to raise money for Christian Aid which helps end poverty(贫穷). She really enjoyed climbing mountains so she decided to climb all 282.

"When I heard that I was the first person from China to have climbed all 282 Munros, I was so thrilled that I couldn't sleep the first night." said Huang. Huang climbed more than 100 on her own and others with friends, spending almost all her weekends climbing.

Huang discovered her love for mountain climbing when her son went to university. She climbed her first Munro, Beinn Narnain in July 2015 and completed her final one, Meall Chuaich on November 18, 2017.

"What I enjoyed the most about these walks is when you reach the top", she said. "…you forget all the worries at work, your life, and just don't think about anything at all…"

Huang came to the UK in 2004. Her next challenge is to walk Hadrian's Wall and climb some of Scotland's small mountains.

There was once a young man called Paul in a village in the USA. Paul was very lazy because his father was a rich farmer and he didn't have to work. Mr Smith, a neighbour of his, was a blacksmith (铁匠). He used to work in his shop all day. Paul spent hours and hours watching how the blacksmith worked every day. “Young man, why don't you try your hand to make a shoe tack (铁钉), even it is only to pass the time?” said the blacksmith one day, “ Maybe it will be useful to you some day.” Finally, the lazy boy began to have a try. After practicing some times, he became skilled and could make very nice tacks.
Years later, Paul's father died and he lost all the things because of a war (战争). He had to move to another country and live by himself. It happened that there were many shoemakers paying high prices to buy tacks for the shoes, because in that part of the country there was a great need of tacks for soldiers' shoes. Paul went to talk with them. He told them that he would make the tacks if they could help him find a workshop in the village. The shoemakers agreed. Then Paul made a lot of money by making tacks. “How funny it is!” he said to himself, “Even by making shoe tacks, one can become rich.”

      THIS is a story about a boy called Sparky. For Sparky, school was all but impossible. He failed every subject in the eighth grade. He got a zero in physics. It made him the worst physics student in the school's history. He didn't do much better in sports. He made the school golf team, but lost the only important match of the season.
      He didn't have friends, either. Other kids didn't care about him. If a classmate said “hello” to Sparky outside of school, he would feel very surprised. There's no way to tell how he might have done at dating(约会). Sparky never once asked a girl to go out in high school. He was too afraid of being turned down.
     He was a loser(失败者), and he and his classmates knew it. But, somehow, he decided to keep trying. The only thing important in his life was drawing. He was proud of his ability even though no one else appreciated it. He submitted(递交) some cartoons for his high school yearbook, but they were rejected.
     After completing high school he wrote a letter to the Walt Disney Studios. He was told to submit some samples. He spent a great deal of time on the drawings. They were rejected. Another loss for the loser.
     So Sparky decided to write his own auto biography(自传) in cartoons. He created his childhood self – a little-boy loser: Charlie. He never succeeded in kicking a football and never got a date with the little red-haired girl. Sparky, the boy who had such a lack of success in school and whose work was rejected again and again, was Charles Schulz. He created the Peanuts comic strip and the world-famous cartoon characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
