Finally, I gave {#blank#}10{#/blank#}to her.

    Yu Rong, a Chinese artist, thinks of a new way to introduce {#blank#}1{#/blank#} ancient story of Hua Mulan in her picture book. In the book, I Am Hua Mulan, she tells the story by{#blank#}2{#/blank#}（combine） paper﹣cutting with international artistic styles. She places Shaanxi paper﹣cuts over western﹣style pencil sketches（素描）{#blank#}3{#/blank#}（create） a typical presentation of Chinese elements （元素）,which turns out to be a {#blank#}4{#/blank#}（success） and impressive breakthrough.

    Hua Mulan,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} story has been told by generations in China, is a fighter from the Northern Wei Dynasty（386﹣534）. As a devoted daughter, she dressed herself as a man to serve in the army{#blank#}6{#/blank#}place of her father. Mulan's characteristics, such as courage, kindness and a disinterested attitude toward fame and fortune, made{#blank#}7{#/blank#} （she） one of the most respected historical Chinese heroines. Mulan's story has been adapted{#blank#}8{#/blank#}（frequent） in modern media, including TV shows, video games and literature. For example, in 1998, Disney produced a film named Mulan, which {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（consider） a great success by critics and the public.

    To better tell the story, Yu Rong takes inspiration from her several {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（visit） to sites of ancient battles and Henan province's Yuju Opera. After years of preparation she finally makes this extraordinary work.

    The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in Canada has organized a group of doctors to help sick people in the past few months. The doctors will send patients to art galleries, instead of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (give) them medicine. The museum is involved in ten experiments on patients to find out how art has an effect {#blank#}2{#/blank#} health. The patients include people with breast cancer (乳腺癌), eating disorders and mental health {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (problem). Thomas Bastien, director of education and wellness at the museum, believes that art can heal. He said, "We saw that the museum was good for people, so we {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (decide) to start this program with the doctors a few months ago. If you have breast cancer, you can come to the museum and you might feel much {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (well)".

    Dr Helene Boyer, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} has a lot of experience in helping to heal people with art treatment, spoke about its advantages. She said, "There's more and more scientific evidence that art treatment is good for your physical health." She said that looking at art increases {#blank#}7{#/blank#} same kinds of hormones (激素) in {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (we) bodies that are produced when we exercise. The museum's director-general said, "I am {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (complete) sure that in the 21st century, art will be what physical activity was for health in the 20th century. Living in a city can be stressful. But people in Bogota, Colombia have found a place to help ease stress and get a{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(peace) break from busy life. The place is a {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(protect) park for hummingbirds(蜂鸟).

The park is at the top of Montserrat Hill. The area{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (contain) a forest which has turned into a quiet place for both people and birds. As the hummingbirds fly from flower to flower, some people take pictures with cameras or phones.

"Sometimes it doesn't seem real because we are close to{#blank#}4{#/blank#} city with the population of 8 million,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} create noise every day," said Camino Carter, a caretaker in the park. His job is{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(mix) water and sugar that is put in bird feeders.

{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(visitor) to the park can see between 25 to 35 different species of birds. But ten years ago, the hill was {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (complete) destroyed, and no trees {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(leave) on it.

Luckily, measures were taken by the government. Workers began to replant local trees and flowers to bring the forest back{#blank#}10{#/blank#} life.

Presently, there are 115 species of birds, including 18 kinds of hummingbirds in the park.
