Babies born after 2017 may never need to take a driving lesson because of the development of self driving cars. Some scientists say that self driving or driverless cars(无人驾驶汽车)may hit the roads within 15 years, and it is possible that driving may become unnecessary, or more relaxing and enjoyable.

Companies like Google, Baidu, Apple and Alibaba are working on driverless cars. But, if the tests are successful, these electric self driving cars could be put into use very soon. This kind of cars may change the way we live in the future. All you have to do is to type in the address!

According to Baidu, driverless technology has the following four advantages. Firstly, driverless cars are actually safer. With driverless cars, the number of deaths caused by accidents will decrease. Secondly, driverless cars are more efficient(效率高的) than manned cars. Thirdly, driverless cars follow the traffic rules. Therefore traffic control will be easier to achieve. At last, the cost of transportation will be reduced as the labor cost becomes less.

There are many different technologies needed to make a successful self driving car. The most difficult technologies of all are environmental perception(感知), behavior prediction, planning control, HD mapping, and exact GPS.

It's important to learn about protecting our environment. Here is a 5R rule for us:
1.Reduce
If you want to reduce waste, you should use things wisely. Millions of trees are being cut down to make paper. If everyone uses a little paper carelessly and throw it out, soon we would not have any trees left. Other things are also being wasted, and people don't know what to do with the waste in big cities. So it is necessary to reduce the waste
2.Reuse
You should always think of reusing the usable things before throwing them out. Give your clothes you do not use or the ones which are too small to the poor. With a family, you may pass on such clothes to younger brothers or sisters.
3. Recycle
Bottles, cans and paper can easily be recycled. By doing so, we save lots of time and money. For example, coke cans are sent to a factory, where they are smashed flat(压平)and melted(融化)and the melted things are made for new coke cans.
4.Recover
When you buy a box of apples, there may be a few rotten(腐烂的)apples, You have two choices: one is to throw the whole apple away, or you could cut off the rotten parts and eat the good parts. In this way, you are recovering the eatable parts of food.
5. Repair
If one of the legs of your table is broken, you can repair it instead of throwing it away. If you want to change for better ones, It is better for you to sell the old things or give them to other people who can use them after doing some repair. It is true that North America is a "throw-away" society(社会).But the time has come to change our way of life so that we can protect our environment. Every one of us should try our best.

A new App has been used in South Africa to benefit (有助于)the relationship between wildlife and humans.

Roadwatch, created by the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT),is designed to let drivers   record any roadkill they see on the country's highways.

It may seem like a strange idea, but EWT says that it could become the perfect platform for receiving important information. Information on where endangered species (物种)are living and the danger that they are under from traffic can help to inform decisions on conservation of matters (物质守恒)in the future.

People can use the App through Facebook, WhatsApp, SMS and Linkedin to report the   species, location, time and date of the creature that has been seen on the road.

Wendy Collinson field officer at EWT suggested that it could lead to more people taking care on the roads and paying more attention to animals that may be trying to cross the roads. One of the biggest problems is with reptiles (爬行动物)and snakes, which she believes people hit on purpose, as they are generally seen as scary. However, they are important to the health of ecosystems, just as all creatures are and also need to be protected.

Emily Taylor from EWT said, “Roadkill simply hasn't been studied here. The road ecology and how many endangered species are being killed, is something we need to know more about. We want people to report as much as possible.”

There have been some other Apps to use in relation to wildlife spotting in South Africa, but most of them are about animals that have not been knocked down, including those helping to collect information of where certain species have been seen, such as in parks.
