    Watching one of the flag-raising ceremony in the capital left me a deep impression. On the morning of January 1, 2018，my parents and I go to the Tian'anmen Square. When they got there, a lot of people were already waiting. See the soldiers walking in sight, all of us felt exciting. Pacing in order, and the soldiers came to the stand. Then the mostly exciting moment came. The flag rose little by little with the familiar music, and we sang by it. The flag reached the top the moment the music came to end. Just then, cheers burst out from the crowds, what made me proud of our motherland.

    Our government is trying hard to build the energy-saving society. It is everybody's duty to work hardly and reach this goal. But, not everybody has realized the importance of it. Take our school for an example. Sometimes we can see that light and computers are still on after class. Some students even forget to turn off the tap after using it and have water run all the time. Our papers are printed on only one side, causing more waste. It's time we did something to avoid this kind of waste. Firstly, make sure that all the lights and other electric facilities turned off when we leave the room. Try to form the habit of turning off the tap immediate after using it. What's more, papers should be printed on both sides and reuse if possible.

Dear Ian,

    Thank you for share the stories about you and your best friend in your last letter. I have a best friend, who name is Wang Ming, and we had known each other for a long time. We met on the first day of school. We were deskmate in class. We both liked pop music and we often went to my house to listen CDs. It wasn't long after we became best friends.

    I was only 10 when we move to Switzerland. I remember that I enjoyed flying across the whole country and that I wasn't very happy about leave my friends.
