Body language is one of the most powerful means of communication.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} people around the world show all kinds of feelings, wishes and attitudes that they might never speak aloud.

The most universal facial expression is the smile. People usually smile to show happiness and make people feel comfortable.But sometimes it doesn't always mean that we are truly happy, however, smile around the world can be false, hiding other feelings like anger, fear or worry.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} However, the general purpose of smiling is to show good feelings.

     From the time we are babies, we show unhappiness or anger by frowning.{#blank#}3{#/blank#} Making a fist and shaking it almost means that someone is angry and threatening another person.

     There are many ways around the world to show agreement ,but nodding the head up and down is used for agreement almost worldwide.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} 

How about showing that I am bored? Looking away from people will make me appear to be uninterested. However, if I turn toward and look at someone or something, people from almost every culture will think that I am interested. If I roll my eyes and turn my head away, I most likely do not believe what I'm hearing or don't like it.

Be respectful to people is subjective, based on each culture. but in general it is probably not a good idea to give a hug to a boss or teacher.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}with so many cultural differences between people .it is great to have some similarities in body language. We can often be wrong about each other. So it is an amazing thing that we understand each other as well as we do.

     China's Winter Olympians have been welcomed home as national heroes from Vancouver, Canada. The country enjoyed its best Winter Games results, collecting 11 medals in Vancouver—including(包括) 5 gold medals.
     With flowers and national flags in hands, many people waited at Beijing Airport for hours. Every member was received by a crowd of family members and friends. Hundreds of workers and fans welcomed the athletes and coaches back with color balloons and ribbons.
     Wang Meng who won three gold medals in Vancouver Winter Olympics said, “We have shown the Olympic spirit and our Chinese sports spirit at the Vancouver Olympics. We Chinese athletes didn't fear to meet the strong opponents (对手) and had good team work.”

    Many people drive their cars to school or work now. So there are lots of cars on the streets. Sometimes, it's not easy for you to get to school or work on time(准时). Then you want to take a plane to school or work. Can your dream come true? Yes!

Four people in Germany(德国) make a new plane—Lilium Jet. It doesn't look like a plane but an egg. Many people think it looks funny. The nice "egg" can take two people and "run" about three hundred kilometers an hour.

    The Lilium Jet is not very big. So it doesn't need an airport(机场). A small place is OK.

    Some people also call the Lilium Jet "a flying car". It's not difficult for you to learn to drive it. You can drive it like driving a car.

    Maybe you can buy one in 2018 if you like it. I'm sure your trip to school or work will be great.

 What is Competitive Eating? It's a game where people try to eat a lot of food very quickly. There are different types of food, like pizza and ice cream.

 The Big Hot Dog Contest Every year, on July 4th, there's a big contest in New York where people eat hot dogs. It started because some people wanted to show they loved America by eating lots of hot dogs. The first winner ate 13 hot dogs in 12 minutes. The Best Eaters Joey Chestnut can eat 40 hot dogs، in 10 minutes. He's the best right now. Before him, Takeru Kobayashi was the best. He's not very big, but he can eat a lot of different foods very fast.

 Is It Good or Bad? Some people think it's not good because it's not healthy and some people don't have enough food. But the people who do it think it's just a sport, like running or swimming. They see themselves as sports players.
