    Last week, I received one of the students from the US, which name was Mike. The first day, I went to pick him up at the Capital Airport and we chatted happy along the way. On the second day, we paid a visit to the famous Maoer Hutong, where we had an interesting rickshaw(黄包车)tour. Mike became very exciting about the driver's detailed introduce to the history of Hutong. The following day, I took him to Mei Lanfang Grand Theatre to watch Beijing Opera. Although he could understand few words, but he was still amazed to seeing the colorful costumes and the unique way of performing. When it was time of him to return to the US, I send him some gifts with Chinese elements, such as a Beijing Opera mask and a Chinese knot. He was very grateful for I had done and said him was really impressed by the rich Chinese culture.

    Mistakes are unavoidable in life .But attitudes towards it may make difference.

    I still remember how my spoken English was improved. In the beginning, I always kept silent in our oral class to avoid make mistakes. Before long my teacher got to know about his situation, he encouraged me to speak out that I thought. Whenever I made mistakes and felt discouraging, my teacher and my classmate would help me to find out my problem. I also joined in an English club to get more chances to speak. Practice made perfect. Now I can talk fluent in English.

    Just as the saying goes, “Every bean has its black”. Don´t be afraid of making mistakes .Learning from mistakes, and success is just waiting for us.

    I like riding my bike. Though it is not very new, but it is my best friend. I find very convenient to go anywhere with a bike. Ride gives me not only exercise but also pleasure. I use my bike mostly on summer when the weather is warm and dry. It can very unpleasant in winter when it is cold and rain is pouring down. It can also be very danger. Of course I will be very careful on my bike. In facts, accidents are not the only problem. One day I went to school and come back to find his front wheel was missing.     This afternoon, our class had a discussion about being polite. Politeness, means communicating or taking actions with love, can make life beautifully. We should be polite not only to the people but also to things. I love reading book and a few days ago I read that love things or they will love us back. That's because we shouldn't destroy public things. It is no doubt that being polite is a good virtue and good deed as well. Unless you want to be polite, first being polite to yourself, and then to everybody and everything in every situation. When you give love to people and things, you will get back love with sure.
