    I am a Canadian girl aging 17 and I' m mad about music. It is one of the most important thing in my life. I listen music whenever I can. I have a minidisk player, with it I can have access to music whether walking in the street or ride on the bike. At home, there is a CD player in my room, but music is on all the time.     I used to like junk food very much, and my mother didn't allow me to eat it. Sometimes I would secret go to eat it. I liked to eat French fries（薯条）, and could eat a lot at a time.     During the last summer holiday, I went on a journey to Beijing, that I visited the Great Wall and the Palace Museum. Much to their surprise, there were so much visitors in all the scenic spots that I had to push my way through the crowd. To be honesty, I had a hard time all the way and didn't find the visit enjoyable or worthwhile at all.

    As far as I am concerning, many people have the same experience, so I think that the number of tourist in some popular places of interest should be limited. In an addition, it's better for us travel at different time periods. Only on this way can we enjoyed the beautiful scenery there.

    I liked cycling very much. At age of twelve, my father bought me a bike as a birthday gifts and taught me how to ride. Every time my father took him out for practice, my little brother would come along. One day, we were practicing while suddenly my brother screamed to help. When we rushed to him, we saw a snake wind around a frog tightly. I beg my father to save the frog. Immediate he picked it up a long stick, trying to drive the snake away. About two minutes later, the frog was set loose, what made us so happy.

Ladies and gentlemen,

    It's my honor to give a speech here. After-school activities play a important part in our school life. Proper activities help enrich our lives, broaden our horizons or develop our personalities. 

    Mine own experience can serve as a case in point. When I was in Senior One, I become a member of our drama club, that I used to visit on weekends. Since my participation in various activities organizing by the club, I achieved a lot. 

    These activities bring me a lot of funs, provide me with good opportunities to develop new friendships and open a window through which I have a brand-new outlook. With so much advantages shown above, why not to join us at once?
