    Mrs. Brown feels very sorry. She says toMona, "Dear, I'm very sorry. Would you please read the poem for me? I needto cut up the carrots." Mona says, "Okay, Mom."

    Bill works at an American company(公司) this year. He goes to a cooking classat a hotel to learn how to cook Chinese food every month.

    "The cooking class is really relaxing,"Bill said. "It's interesting for me to spend my weekend learning to cook.I enjoy going shopping for vegetables, cooking delicious food and asking myfriends to eat."

    Mr. Wang said that more and more peoplewere calling the hotel every day to learn about cooking. "Food is aculture(文化). People shouldn't lose it. That's whywe start the cooking class," he said.

    There are five to ten people in one class.Everyone wears a white uniform like a real cook(厨师). People in the class just follow thecook's orders and a delicious dish will be ready(准备好的) soon. After class, the "students"and the cook will eat the food they cook together and talk about interestingthings in their life.

    Bill told his sister that he would cook forher when he came back to Moscow. "My mom and my sister will be very happy,seeing me cook for them." Bill said.

    Mr. and Mrs. Boot, and their two children，Poppy and Sam, live on the Apple Tree Farm.

    One day, Poppy and Sam wanted to camp on the farm.

    "Dad, can you help us put up the tent?" Poppy said.

    "No problem," "Come on, Rusty, you can come camping with us," said Sam.

    Suddenly they heard some noise.  Poppy looked out of the tent and saw the cow, Daisy. Daisy looked into the tent, but Rusty barked at (朝……叫) her. Daisy was scared and she pulled (拉) the tent down.

    Mr. Boot opened the door. "I'm not happy, Dad." said Sam. ""

    "But I think this camping is fun," said Poppy.

    I'm having a good time in Beijing. Beijing is a beautiful city with a lot of parks, new buildings andstores.

     family took me to the Great Wall, Tian'anmen Square and the Summer Palace. They took me to eat at some famous (著名) restaurants. I Beijing duck, hot pot and many kinds of dishes. They  delicious. They also helped me learn Chinese  I can speak a little Chinese now. Bill's dad bought me somestorybooks and an English-Chinese dictionary. Now I amthe books. They are interesting and I love them very much.

    Tomorrow I'm going to Bill's school to meet teachers and classmates. I want to more friends in China. Next week I'm going to Tibet (西藏) with Bill's family by plane. I'm sure it'll be an exciting trip.
