On August 5 just after 7.30 pm, Mike Estepa suffered a massive heart attack. The crazy cyclist was 40 kilometres into his Sunday ride when he stopped by the side of the road to text his family saying he'd be home in about 30 minutes. Moments later, he was lying in the ditch, unconscious.

Also your retention is an important part of observational learning as you need to pull up information later and act on it during the process. Once you've paid attention to the model and kept the information, it's time to actually perform the behavior you observed. Further practice of the learned behavior leads to improvement. Finally, you have to be motivated to imitate the behavior that has been modeled.
Social learning theory have many real-world applications. For example, researchers employ it to look into and understand ways that positive role models can be used to encourage desirable behaviors. I am a comic fan and one of the book I like best is the Adventures of Tintin wrote by Herge. I have loved the book since I first read it as kid. Tintin was a very brave and kind boy. He always catches bad guys and help people in need. I really admire her colorful life travelling around the world. The boy, which was born in the comic book in 1929, turns 90 this year. But the first Tintin shop was opened this February in Shanghai to celebrate his ninetieth birthday. I'm looking forward to paying a visit to there this summer vacation. How excited it will be to buy lovely Tintin products!
